Not with the current manager at helm, of course. The main reason I'm still interested is because, hopefully, they can at least "do a van den Berg" and bring in $$. 😅

If i had any kind of faith that we would see any of them consistently start for us, then i'd be all for it. We won't and they won't. Who's the last centre back that we bought for the youth teams who got minutes? Centre backs aren't those players to bring in at 17 and give developmental time to. It's more likely we'll buy them, loan them out and sell thin in 3 years.

I agree its a long term planning/profit game, but this isn't what we need to be doing this second. Especially when these players are seemingly scouted from doing well in an international tournament. Get these kids in, absolutely, but get your ordonez, get your guehi, get your wingers.

It's fine signing young CBs that may do nothing for us, as long as they're better than that Nallo kid. They should be at least able to bulk out the squad for not that much money
Buying them now makes sense if Slot is only going to be manager until the summer.
That's what I'm telling myself, anyways.
Don't like but agree. Slot's eviscerated our youth. We're moneyballing with youth and not prioritizing senior players.
