Is Enrique just a pipe dream? I think he'd be great with this group of players. Look at how he's transformed that PSG team and got them all working hard too. He'd be my choice. Iraola is an unknown quantity for me. Klopp I'm not so sure wants or should come back to full time management.

Yes he is! A club with unlimited budget and a salary that matches Pep most likely. Why would he make the jump?

One thing I'd love more than a manager who gets us playing attacking football is one who makes us hard to beat again. I want it so no one wants to play us again, and I don't care how we do it. Glasner > Iraola for me.

If we must change, give me Stevie G with God as assistant.

I'll take the slide into mediocrity just for the nostalgic good feels.

He'd be the one if he were gettable. But I can't imagine that he is.

We'll be left gambling with a promising but untested option like Iraola or de Zerbi.

Because it's a farmer's league, he's already achieved what he went there to do (win the CL), we're a bigger club in a bigger league...
Tell me where he stands a better chance of winning the CL, with us or with PSG? What has being "Bigger" got to do with anything? Its all about winning Trophies, he is at arguably the most glamorous club in the world, getting paid huge bucks, and guaranteed of winning the league and a good chance of winning CL. You honestly think he would want to give that all up?

Yes. It's a step up from being Celtic manager and he's already achieved what he went there to do. Liverpool is a step up from PSG.

Has to be a manager that plays a similar playing style to Klopp. If we go a different direction it will take years to return to the top,

We could be way beyond that. We need to look at the squad and think who would work best with these players. With the new signings a Klopp 4-3-3 wouldn’t really work.

Even though I picked Klopp to come back.

We have a better history but we are not a level above them as it stands today. Its Ty level delusion to think otherwise. PSG in terms of pay, location, potential silverware out rank Liverpool. You make the point the Ligue1 is a Farmers league which is accurate but there is nothing to suggest Managers care, look at Bayern and the managers they attract. You pay the money you will get the best coaches. The issue is PSG can afford a better package

You're right. Bayern Munich did manage to lure away the boss of mighty Burnley.

Yep, ignore all the other managers they've had! As I said its Ty level delusion to think Enrique would consider leaving PSG when he has it so cushy for a challenge. I will leave you with your fantasies

Not everyone wants a cushy number. Winners usually want to challenge themselves. Not saying it would happen. But it's hardly a pipe dream

Enrique isn't a pipe dream, but the question also becomes, "why would he want to come to us?". We're clearly in a colossal transitional stage with a lot of player power in the dressing room. We're close to being the cursed chalice we always thought united was

We dont have the money for another 400m summer, so we're short of a long term VVD replacement, a long term salah replacement, a kamikaze defence and a misfiring attack.

I think we have some issues with our group of players as well. Most of our attack has the personality of a dead moth. They are decent, but they do not have any edge to them at all. Like even Nunez had something about him, even if he was unsound fundamentally. Id rather have Diaz and Nunez than what we have. The only one I like is ekitike.

I actually don't think it's all that bad. We've got some really good players. We just have the Dutch bald version of Wayne Lineker managing them.
We've got some excellent players, but theres also a knife that needs to be taken to the squad without the funds to necessarily replace them. We've clearly wasted the money in the summer (chiefly looking at Isak) and now we're looking at panic buying a winger when that should have been an option in the summer

I've seen reports again that we decided to not for for Barcola because we didn't want to block Rio. See reports we're going to go for semenyo in Jan. What because now Rios minutes don't matter?

I will never understand that. Ever. Even in 6 years if rio is a consistent starter for us. Whats the point in developing a consistent starter if the damage is done to make us finish out of CL for a couple of years? We should be buying for what we need now, and if he's good enough he'll get the minutes.

Now we're 11 points off, look bereft of creativity and going to no doubt make errors in the market again

There is zero fucking needle in our squad. Best we've got is Robbo.
