Re: bellemy

Take the argumentative bastard back in a heart beat.
Hope the rumours of us signing him are true.

Re: bellemy

I'm sure City want him off their payroll but will they sanction a transfer to us?

They may not see spurs as a threat :)

Re: bellemy

I'd take him on loan for a season. I don't rate him that highly, though.

Re: bellemy

One more impact player on the bench certainly wouldn't hurt so I hope we pull this off. That and I've always liked him as a player.

Has he been fit in the last year or so?
35 appearances last season according to wikipedia.

That's a concern of mine, also.

He is rather injury-prone.

He has played 76 games in the last two seasons, so I think he has that under control these days. Sports science and all that crap eh.

What a fantastic impact sub he would be. Exactly the kind of annoying cock we want running at tired legs, teams will hate it.

Would a strike force of Suarez and Bellamy not be the hard strike force in the world for defenders to resist punching?

We should never have let him go in the first place. He was a victim of a chairman wanting to put together an all dominating fantasy football team at citeh while he was arguably the best player in the league for the first half of the season 2 years ago....all this while we had started to see a moaning and whinny torres up front with little cover. I'd definitely have him back!!

And let's face it, who DOESN'T want to take a 9 iron to JAR's legs?
Haha

We had no option at the time BUT to let him go. I'd also take him back though.
I know....just was kind of pissed off about it at the time. Hope he gets a shot again!!

We even have his old squad number empty for him. Would love for him to join but can't see it happening due to his wages.

bellamy isn't going to reduce his wages, he runs a charity and they get money from his wages so if he loses money they are the ones who will suffer.

I would sooner have a young hungry striker with the potential to develop into a top player.
Pass

In an ideal world yes. It would be very difficult to find someone who is reasonably priced and already good enough to make an impact though. Also it's good for a young player to play big minutes regularly whereas Bellamy would be ideal as an impact sub.
