C - He made some mistakes but the 2nd half of the season was a huge improvement and that was thanx to Sturridge, coutinho and Suarez.

It didn't help being forced to do that feckin' documentary, then the whole Andy Carroll debacle (everyone and his dog knew Carroll wasn't going to be around for long and most of the interview questions right from the moment he took over to the day Carroll thankfully left, A DAY before the transfer window closed, centred around this). Having to overhaul and waste valuable time offloading players he didn't want and there were many, like thirteen or fourteen. His main Summer acquisitions (Allen* and Borini) playing in the Olympics and missing 5-and-a-half months of the season due to a broken foot and dislocated shoulder respectively. Losing out on players he really coveted in the Summer (Sigurdsson, Dempsey and Sturridge on loan - and although the former have been average for Spurs, they could have fitted in at our club much better.). That first game of the Premier League season against W.B.A. where you seek to get off to the best possible start to boost morale and everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. Skrtel's lapse in concentration the week after versus Man City when he played Tevez in for their equaliser, and Lucas was unfortunately sidelined for 3 months with a thigh problem in that match aswell. Shelvey bizarrely got sent off for the 50-50 tackle on Jonny Evans and we should have even went on to win that game nevermind losing it, and it didn't help matters Martin Kelly rupturing his ACL for 6 months in that game too. A promising player in Sterling doing so well until a combination of exhaustion and stories of an assault broke out in the media made his form deteriorate. Agger going from a solid, tough as nails pro to playing like a clueless amateur until Carra restored things. His own son's court case played out in the eyes of the media...and I haven't even mentioned Suarez yet....

If we can add in some quality players in the coming months in key positions, have a clean bill of health and sustain our form from the second half of the season then I look forward to a very successful campaign this year.

*btw I think Allen will be a different player this year with his left shoulder fully recovered and an entire pre-season with his team mates...
