We should have won it two years ago. Ugh.
Lucas just tackled me.
They won more points than any other team. How did they do it?
Bradley's cousin used to play for them back in those days, he's called Tim McCann. I'm not sure how many first team games he played in.Well done Leicester. I had a real soft spot for them when O'Neill was managing them and Neil Lennon and Heskey playing for them. It is a fantastic story. If their fans would only stop the clacker things I'd be happier for them.
I'm amazed they did it without Lucas playing for them. Simply amazing.IMO this will mean that the big egos will get it much more difficult. The clubs will now focus more on team players. Leicester won because they played as a team week in week out. The clubs can't afford to have big egos destroying the team morale.
I do because we'll be winning it within 4 years.A truly refreshing story in cynical times. But do I expect it to happen again in the next decade? No. So I'm not sure if it's so much an inspiration as a beguiling one-off. But they won't care. It's like a homemade car winning F1.
