AFCON 2025

Saw that they won the fair play award? Lol...

Morocco should be banned for that. Stealing towels and bottles is shithousery. But that crossed a line when they are attacking the back up goal keeper.

They seem to have instructed the ball boys to do it, which I guess adds a level of deniability as they technically aren't part of the team/squad.

Dreadful though.

They did. But they had a sub who stood in front of the keeper trying to block him from giving the keeper the towel before that.

Hakimi threw at least one towel into the crowd.

So they were all in on it.. something id expect from Mourinho.

Didn't Mane request that because he likes Salah a lot more than you?

When you say "we", you mean Mane

Shows the difference in qualities between the players though. One didn't want to celebrate in case it hurt another players feelings, the other didn't want to celebrate someone else's success because it hurt their own feelings.

Don't get me wrong, the club was in a difficult position between the 2, and it absolutely showed a favouritism between the 2 by agreeing, but it shows humility by mane rather than Salah.

Every comment I've seen from Mane suggests that they get on pretty well.

I do think it's overblown their supposedly bad relationship. I think they saw each other as colleagues and kept it at that level. I don't think there was bad blood except that 1 game, but that was justifiable frustration

It's very normal to have disagreements with people, I'm not sure I can name anyone I like that I haven't had one with. It was probably, and almost certainly, not great at times between them, but I think they make each other better players. And I don't think there is any bad blood between them now, no matter what the Salah haters want to believe.

One Salah “stirrer” in particular 😆

They do, the whole Mane v Salah narrative thing is embarrassing. Mane's interview last month confirmed how delt with it and there nothing any more than healthy love and respect. You would think at times there are only 2 players who played at AFCON and only one striker at LFC if you came to SCM.
It is nothing like Cole and Sherringham or Drogba v Mido where there was obvious dislike.
