To me it's pretty clear it's going to be one or the other. If we buy Adam, Aquilani will be shipped out, probably on loan. If Kenny decides to keep Aquilani, that leaves no room for Adam, considering how many CMs we've got already. So, straight up, who would you choose?

Please vote in the poll and also leave a post in the thread telling us all who you voted for. In a few years it will be fun to look back on this thread and see who was right and who was dead wrong.

yeah im going to say adam, both decent players but i think he just edges it, plus i think his injury recrod is quite good

I'm a bit torn on this actually, I like both players, like Neil said though our setpieces have been shit forever.

Adam.

Aquilani was not successful the first time around, is injury prone and doesn't want to be here.

everyone finds it pretty easy to click the aquilani name in the box, but a bit squeamish about revealing yourselves, eh? I'll fly the Aquilani flag myself, damn it! Me and Dee!

I voted Adam because Aquilani is a shithouse who doesn't want to play for us

Don't want any player that doesn't want to play for us. Fuck Aquafani.
Exactly, opinions on talent aside - a sicknote who doesnt want to be here V someone with a normal injury record that does want to be here

Plus I like charlie adam, he's a good player that gives us something we don't have. I'm not sure aquilani gives us anything we don't have wit meireles, gerrard or cole.

I was hoping this was on tonight's undercard
Badoom-tish.

I've looked into me crystal bollix and this is what's gonna happen. We'll sign Adam, confident of offloading Aqualani for 10m odd but the deal to some Italian club will collapse at the last minute because they want to link the fee to appearances.

Aqualani returns to Anfield where no one expects him to actually play. Adam who has has a good injury record in his career to date does his knee in after four games of the season (after beinh shite in each of them) and Aqualani steps up and remains injury free for the rest of the season. We finish 3rd.
