This stood out (also the fact they play on the previous Thursday in Europe - with less rotation than us - and on the Sunday as we do) : So with this we have 9 matches in 30 days between Dec 3rd and Jan 2nd including Liverpool away, Man U at home and Arsenal away and Brighton away as the last 4.

Also : Better to get Liverpool now, a one off game during a busy Christmas period sandwiched in-between games vs Man united and Arsenal. Rather then get them over 2 legs in January/February. (ME : I thought the two legs had been scrapped) !

And : Just looked up the numbers for our games at Anfield over the past 60 years
We have won one game there
We have drawn 15 games there
We have lost 43 games there
