In the CL its Slot btw:

Yeah that chart doesn't include pre premier league managers.

Id expect it to be slot in the CL, as he's had one season, got a bigger group stage than others, and lost in the knockouts.

We've lost 14 games since that psg game.

I dunno what it is, but aomethings changed in the last 9 months.

Of course it makes sense, there has to be a period of transition from one to the other. So lets put it this way, essentially we were better when we were transitioning than when we became "Slot's" team. Or are we not Slot's team yet and is this on Klopp? There's no "narrative", the further down the line we've got and the further away we get from what Klopp left, the more we've got shitter and lost our identity.
Clearly this is all on Biden.

Positives for Slot were the initial fresh, detailed media interviews/press conferences which I enjoyed, turning Gravenberch into a might force which I thought impossible and having some part in our summer spend (which I still believe will all work out - just under a new manager)

The turgid football, the relentless attempt to get a different result from the same team & tactics, the lack of press/fitness (balanced admittedly by the fewer injuries) and the own goals he seems to fire off now in the pressers are why I think he needs to be replaced. Sadly there's no-one to replace him currently

I know it's in jest but there are days when I DO blame a lot of the state of the world on Biden's pathetic attempt to run for a second term

I haven't got quite as as far as blaming our lack of tactical inspiration on him ..... yet!

Rumored team:

Alisson, Bradley, Konate, Virgil, Kerkez, Gravy, Szobo, Macca, Gakpo, Wirtz, Frimpong

Appaz Jones is out as well

I went from Wikipedia. Taking Slot's overall total out you had:

Dalglish on 60.91
Klopp on 60.90
William Barclay on 60.63
Paisley on 57.57
Benitez on 55.43
Fagan on 54.20

Edit: just realised your list was just Premier League managers.

Had the players known that this could have been used to win an argument on SCM in 2026, I bet they would have turned up instead of being on the beach for the last 4 league games after we won the league so that we could stat pad up to 90 points.

It's just one of the many factors. The eye test is the most damning. The performances have largely been awful for a year.

And to be honest, I wasn't happy with how they seemingly downed tools after the league was wrapped up anyway. It shows a certain level of unprofessionalism and arrogance in my book.

Wikipedia is good for many things but for stats it's not. You need to check the sources used because it's just guys like us writing a piece based on stats they got from somewhere.

That that pissed me off bigtime. We could and should have broken 90 points and gone away with the rest of the PL fearful we're run over them again in 2025/6 but instead it made us look mortal. Not that we seem to have needed any assistance in self-immolating.

No, I know. And as I said, it was just a quick Google search. But the figures won't be too far from the truth if they aren't the real ones anyway. The discrepancy came from Hansern's list being just Prem era.

It just shows the wrong mentality and derails momentum. I was unhappy in 2020 when we didn't break the record and finished on 99 points as that team deserved to have the highest tally ever, but that's by the by.

Last year is different, though. Slot was off partying in Ibiza mid season. Do all that shit in the summer, egghead.

New manager bounce is a thing of the past, welcome to old manager bounce

I'll miss the first 25 because of rugby training but if we're 2-0 down by then I won't bother watching the rest of it for my own sake.

Plus the Traitors is meant to go wild tonight.

They’re gonna kill off Sam, secret traitor and that stuck up traitor will get in another spat and Reece will be revealed as Amanda’s son. Just a shame tonight’s episode isn’t 2 hours long.
