Mohamed Nunez
This jokes been made twice, and both times i've innately gone "would nunez have been that shit today?"
He may have missed those chances but the cunt would forced other things more than cody and salah
What is Slot hoping for?
Given how we look you'd say we need two wingers, a CM, a CB...
A change in formation is the only way that the summer purchases make senseNobody is getting sacked for losing away to City, particularly after two good wins.
The real concern I have is that we've bet the house on the players we bought in the summer and it's not looking so good right now.
Defence - ropey
Midfield - thin
Attack - one dimensional and toothless now that Salah has dropped off a cliff
We've got issues right throughout the team. I'd like to believe that it'll all come together, but it didn't make sense in the summer and it still doesn't now.
Luckily we didn't offer him that new contract at leastA big payoff.
totally agree and all but he has to take a tiny bit of responsibility too for not retiring from international football and acting like a child if he doesn’t play every minuteHe's offside because he can't play a game like against real, more than once every few weeks, where he has to defend. The legs aren't there. It isn't his fault. He should have his minutes aggressively managed to get the best out of him. Instead he's hugely contributing to us being shit, and we are giving him tons and tons of minutes to make that contribution.
Wirtz did surprisingly well. I thought he'd struggle today but he tried to ride challenges, did a few excellent through balls, and genuinely was the 2nd most isolated player on the pitch (after Hugo)Szobo showing his inconsistency here. Somehow Wirtz has been our best player and he was not great
he could score a fucking hattrick, it won't change anythingPlease score Fede
Crazy that he still came the closest to scoring despite looking utterly washedSalah will probably score a pointless worldie having said that
