I can't dig it out, but I saw one if the radars comparing Yamal and Wirtz and they were identical. Identical. Yamal is already getting talked about as a multiple balón dor winner, and is obviously doing it as a ridiculous age, but it shows the level of player we are signing. Basically if you're only very excited by this, you're not excited enough.

What I will say about that however is that our opponents after some time caught up to that, they doubled up on him and restricted the amount of space on the outside of them so he has gotten past opponents less frequently I would say than is his first 2 years. But of course he is still a major threat just because opponents have to work very hard to limit his space and even then he has his moments and is still dangerous.

I know this is a Florian thread, but I like this bit about Frimpong. So teams will have to double up on him & doubel up on Salah - thats nearly half their outfield players spoken for already. Whoever plays 9 & 10 for us will have field day

Hmm here's few names to consider : Yamal, Raphina, Vinicius Jnr, Pedri, M'Bappe, Vitinha, Bellingham (whether the forum likes it or not he is), & Haaland? I'm sure we could come up with some others even Macca, VvD, Ali and Mo. all in the mix !

Yeah - team mates always like to pour sunshine up one another's arses. I think Messi said Romero was the best defender in the world - but that don't make it true.

When those team mates are backed up by numerous others it's a lot more likely to be true than not.
