Florian and the (Slot) Machine

The phrase "cheap at half the price" is an idiom, not a literal statement. It's often used ironically to mean that something is overpriced or of poor quality, even if the price is reduced. In this case, "cheap" doesn't refer to being inexpensive, but rather to being low-quality or even worthless

The points relegation argument is nonsensical as Ange has said he knew he couldn’t get relegated and put everything into the Europa league so the points total in the league didn’t matter with 3 worse off.

It's still the reality - whether his reasoning is valid or not (personally, I think it is).

That being said, man u were faced with the same issue last year ... it's a gamble either way, and I'm not fussed what they do if honest.

That bo11ocks about concentrating on the Europa league was an excuse Ange put up in a hurry near the end of the season after their league campaign had crashed and burned. Neither the things he said nor the teams he selected earlier in the season gave any sign of such an approach.

Ange is exactly what he was before he managed Spurs - just an ok manager that was out of his depth managing a top team in England.

Everyone knew it and knew exactly how this would end - except for Dreamie and his weird Ange fetish.

Have Leicester sacked horse face yet? Them or another decent Championship team would be his level - Middlesbrough might be an option, or it’s more like a Blackburn or Norwich type club would be best for him.

So qualifying for European football in his first season after losing his star player and backing that up with the clubs first major trophy in 20 years and first European trophy in 40 years, getting the club back into the CL while managing their biggest injury crisis in years is being out of his depth.

Rightio…..

Mate.. Dreamies in pain, he’s distraught - this our way of helping him through this dark time - Therapy the SCM way.
Therapy isn’t for everyone…some are just too defended / deluded to make use of the frame.

I think we’re at shutter island stage with Dreamie…

I've never heard anyone actually use that phrase with that intent though, mostly they get it confused with the oft used 'cheap at twice the price'.

🚨Bayer now expecting what is likely to be the FINAL written offer from #LFC for Florian Wirtz. It’s expected they offer around €140m in a package inclusive of add-on and possibly with additional bonus payments, which are very difficult to achieve. Via [Axel Hesse & @PippoArens]

£100M + 13M add-ons == €119 + 15.5M add ons

So I'm guessing all the stories are about correct. So either you call it £113M or €135M

If you are the Daily Manc you will pretend they use sterling on the continent so just report £135 million.
