Over the years it's always been a match that either could win regardless of position, when we were top and United getting relegated or we were mid-table and they were romping away with it. Especially at Anfield. Unless my memory is far worse than I thought.

Those results were the season we came second, and Moyes was in charge. The following two seasons were LVG and we've lost every game since that 3-0 victory at Anfield.

Agreed, I think thats the team regardless with both Lallana and Wijnaldum struggling.
If Lallana is fit and starting he may put Studge on the bench mind.
I'm not that bothered about the team anyway. Even if we had a full strength team I would find something to complain or worry about.
I just hate playing United and hate playing Mourinho teams; they bring out the worst in me and my "WE"RE DOOMED!" football mindset, so this fixture is really painful. I just find it easier to envisage the misery of defeat than be screaming with delight.
If they lose they're down to 8th and a serious test of Mourinho's talent and credentials. We could go TOP if we win well. I'm finding the latter far harder to imagine.

I can see that. Ignoring Moreno (Klopp seems to have some faith in him for some reason, possibly cos we don't have a better real LB!), it's the obvious solution to the midfield in Gini's absence.

Dont think we will shuffle around with the defence. Its more obvious that Can comes into the team and maybe Sturridge.
Moreno shouldnt be anywhere near the team. If he starts I already predict a Utd penalty.
Agree that Moreno in defence would be a mistake. Klopp hasn't always thought that though, & Milner would be better than Can in that midfield role.
