Interesting Young Players

Bakayoko's game looks kinda similar to Salah's, at least given that he's a left footer cutting in from the right.

Something about him just didn't click for me watching that compilation though.

He doesn't seem to have the same kind of electric pace that Salah.. and a lot of the control was a bit fumbly.

Why not? I thought we’ve been linked with him in the summer as a potential Salah replacement.

Yeah, we've been tracking him for a while appaz. He also turned down a move this summer to Brentford and opted to stay for one more year in Holland.
I'd say we have a good chance of getting him if we decide that he's a player we want.

Gabriel Moscardo to Chelsea for 25 mill. Yet another talented midfielder who will have his career ruined.

We rarely buy direct from supplier. We like second hand.

He'll go to somewhere like dortmund or leipzig, take the absolute piss, then we'll get him for 75m

Jaden Philogene - someone we were briefly linked with before he joined Hull

With Morton playing in the same team, he might be someone our scouts continue to monitor

Emanuel Emegha - 20 years old - RC Strasbourg.

Caught a few Strasbourg games this season, bit of a beast this kid.

Middlesbrough's Hackney. Obviously different playing level in terms of league but interesting similarities.

Premier League scouts monitoring Middlesbrough midfielder Hayden Hackney... with four of the 'Big Six' keeping tabs on the England U21 star ahead of a possible move next summer

[article]Premier League scouts from both Manchester clubs, Tottenham and Liverpool are watching Middlesbrough midfielder Hayden Hackney - but with the expectation he will leave in the summer rather than January.

The 21-year-old has interest from lower down the top-flight and it is thought some clubs, such as Nottingham Forest, could test Boro’s resolve in the New Year.

However, we understand the player would prefer to remain at the Riverside Stadium until the end of the season, when offers are almost certain to arrive.

Mail Sport has been made aware of the talent-spotters in attendance at Boro matches in recent months, and Tottenham are among those most interested in Hackney.

They were even represented during his last game at Bristol City at the end of last month, before Hackney picked up a hamstring strain from which he will return in the next seven days. Interestingly, some of those top six clubs have not watched the team during his absence.

Manchester City and Manchester United are keeping tabs, with the latter said to be more keen. Meanwhile, sources insist Liverpool’s interest could yet be the one to rival Spurs.

The England Under-21 star has four years to run on his contract and Boro will be relaxed about commanding a sizeable fee for their best young player, but there is an acceptance he will move on if they do not win promotion to the Premier League this season.

Hackney is approaching 100 career appearances and has developed into a cultured midfielder, but one who carries the ball and can hurt the opposition.

He has starred for England this season and is on the pathway for progression into the senior ranks, having also represented Scotland at Under-21 level. It is thought the Scots have not given up hope on Hackney one day switching back to their country, for whom he qualifies to play through his Edinburgh-born mother.

England youth player Lamore Forrester (2008) makes his debut for Liverpool U18s today. A bag full of tricks, full of flair - joy to watch. LFC U14 were crowned Premier League International Champions at youth level last season and Forrester was named player of the tournament

With the rise of "new" names like Mykhaylo Mudryk and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, I though it's interesting to keep an eye on upcoming talents.

One that caught my eye today is Dango Ouattara (plays on the left wing). Got a goal and assist for Lorient at home vs. Lyon. Did a quick check and realised this is the 3rd game in a row he has assisted/scored in.

That's 2 goals and 3 assists in 6 league starts. He had 25 league appearances last season but only started 7 games (1 goal 2 assists).

Below was an assist during the AFCON earlier this year.

Joao Pedro with 15 goals and 2 assists in 28 appearances in all competition this season. Brighton might have missed out on Kudus but getting him for £30m was good business.

Very good player, although half of those goals have come from the spot.
