He can win trophies here next season.
But he looks so smart and professional surely he cannot be bullshitting ?Is there any actual evidence that it's "junk" other than that the guy was once employed by a company owned by Murdoch? Cos that probably applies to 90% of journalists.
How many actually Left Klopp after? Can? Gini left because we didn’t make a suitable offer. Trying to recall, don’t remember anu increase in this.Eh...wants to go right now. Players are saying I don't want go, maybe next year, and Klopp of all people was fine with that. I've never seen so many senior players leave for free like under Klopp.

So you are on fence, and I take little comfort from thatHe's writing for the Guardian and generally they don't go out of their way to just make up shit. I wouldn't say it couldn't be BS, but I certainly wouldn't just write it off.
That’s natural. None we wanted to keep at end of their contract. Think that is more FSG policy than anything else.Moreno, Lallana, Ox, Firmino, Keita...there's probably more
From a strategic perspective, if the club cannot secure his commitment to a new deal before the transfer window closes, they should seriously consider selling him. Allowing a valuable asset to run down his contract and leave for free would besignificant financial and sporting loss.
Guehi plays on the left, right? Wouldn't it mean we could finally rest Virgil without a massive drop off in quality? Personally I think there's more than enough games next season for all three to feature heavily, although I'd want Virgil to start almost every game of importance, we also have to remember Konate is made of paper mache. If we are getting guehi then its because we are looking to get rid of konate. No way would guehi coming in to be 3rd choice.
[SkySport | Sacha Tavolieri] Konaté has now made his decision: if he leaves Liverpool, it will only be to join Real Madrid. The decision is very clear to the Frenchman: he considers Real as the perfect club to grow in his career and willing to wait until 2026 to join as free agent, similar to Trent.

Well if it is true, then his brother must LOVE covering all that empty space left by Trent - good luck to Ibou on a short career where he is constantly injured because he has to cover his area and Trents. Would it surprise anyone if Trent after his first 2 RM games went to the phone and made an emergency call to Ibou "hey buddy - they are killing me here, I got no one running like a dog to cover me when I go walk-about, don't sign that contract there is a place in this team to cover my arse..."Ibou’s brother has said this isn’t true. Sacha is full of BS.

Though on the other hand, they always deny and delay until they're smiling for the cameras in Madrid.
I don't know what's going to happen with Konate but in general, this leaving on a free business is a trend we need to bring an end to.
Yeah sorry but it's not so simple as 'sell them' or 'bench them'.
The former requires their acquiescence and why would they when they have a bumper pay day coming? And RM (for example) don't need to do anything.
Benching them is cutting your nose off to spite your face and then having a disenfranchised player polluting the atmosphere as well as weakening the team.
Sorry, but if this were true then every player would be doing the same and going on free transfers, it's not "that" common. Most players leave clubs for a fee, we can actively put him on the market if he doesn't want to sign. Clubs do it all the time.Yeah sorry but it's not so simple as 'sell them' or 'bench them'.

Most players don't have RM hovering in the background. The difference likely comes down to having a dream club promising to sign you or not. However this is clearly a rising trend in the game.Sorry, but if this were true then every player would be doing the same and going on free transfers, it's not "that" common. It is, and as said, it's something we have to stand up to and nip in the bud. Taking a strong stance right now is probably as good a time as any, because lets face it, who really wants to be seen to be playing dirty with us right now? (I know that sounds harsh, but we have to show that we're stronger than being just a feeder club for RM)Most players don't have RM hovering in the background. I think a line in the sand needs to be drawn. If that means cutting off our nose to spite our face so be it. It also means that when we sign another CB they can go straight into the team without the tussle with Konate.Yeah sorry but it's not so simple as 'sell them' or 'bench them'.

Yeah I'd take another PL title / CL cup over perceived face saving.I think a line in the sand needs to be drawn. If that means cutting off our nose to spite our face so be it. It also means that when we sign another CB they can go straight into the team without the tussle with Konate.
Depending on the calibre we bring in (providing we do), they're not mutually exclusiveYeah I'd take another PL title / CL cup over perceived face saving.
