The ref wouldn’t be expected to pick that up. Secondly, his own keeper took him out. Third, he was holding the back of his head when there was no impact on the back of his head AND he took the chance to look up and see if the ball had been cleared before holding the back of his head.

No we cut them open several times and just couldn’t finish. Best attacking play in yonks. Gakpo was very good first half.

Story of the season. We have a bunch of remarkably wasteful forwards. From the volume of chances we create, we should be blowing teams away but frequently find oursleves hanging on grimly because of a sucker punch or brainfade.
