Liverpool related transfer speculation

I didn't realise Bajcetic is only 20. He's looked good everytime he played, and at such a young age.

Why isn't he given more of a chance?

I don’t think Slot rates him, I don’t think he reckons he can break through at Anfield and I think he wants to play elsewhere.

The talent is there, I think it’s other things that aren’t.

Ideally he’d be full of desire to come back, work hard and challenge for a place - just haven’t seen any sign of that yet.

Sell him for £20m+ and buy Stiller.

Let’s not drag it out if he wants to be somewhere else.
Stiller isn't coming here to sit on the bench. Badger at least will realise he is a squad option that will play anywhere from CDM/CB/RB. I would like to see Badger be given a fair whip. Both Gomez and Bradley have to be managed. I don't think either can play 5 games on the the trot. I even think Gomez wants away

We’d all LIKE to see Badger given a chance - that doesn’t mean he’s going to be given a chance - no matter what rational reason YOU can come up with.

We don't know anything about what Slot plan's to do. From the transfers we've had so far, we will be way more attacking. Steph plugs in holes when they appear. If I had to choose between Stiller and Steph, I would choose Steph.

Stiller is Madrid bound.

Would prefer Baleba anyway.

Yeah but Stiller will cost £40m and Baleba likely double that.

I’d happily take Baleba too, but it probably is a cost thing.

Stiller probably will go to Real.

That’s fine… he looks like a blobfish anyway.

No, but we can make educated guesses, based on what we’ve seen from Slot.

Again, what you’d do and what Slot will do are likely different things.

I’d probably, personally, prefer if we gave him a go, but don’t mistake what I would do with want I think Slot WILL do.

Again, I’m only speculating - but I haven’t seen or heard anything that would suggest the plan is for Slot to re-integrate him into the squad.

And that’s fine… so if we want another midfielder, it’ll be whoever is on the list Slot, the data nerds and Hughes are working from - which probably doesn’t (although it might) include Badger.
You and I can't impact the material reality. We are here just here to discuss the possible hypotheticals.
For me the players I want to keep are; Konate, Badger, Endo and Ali, whose status are all in question. We know Alex, Dom, Gakpo, Mo, VVD are all staying. As to the rest I feel very neutral

Brighton don’t need the money, I see Joao Pedro leaving as he has upset Van Hecke the CB they really want to keep and there is no pressure to sell.
The only way they will sell is if the player himself tells the club he wants to go and then his price will be £100m plus.

Hold on, Endo performed admirably multiple times when coming on as sub as dm. He even won MOM in one game (Wolves?) after only getting on the pitch for 20 minutes. He's also done well as emergency centre back when needed. He's a GREAT option to have in the squad.

I don’t think he was MOM against Wolves, he did well considering in that game when required.
The main point was can he step in and start to take the load of Gravvy, in the games he started last year. I can’t remember any games where he did that? The last 2 games he started, we lost including against a rubbish Plymouth side.
We have too many “GREAT” options but it's obvious outside of our starting 11, we lack real quality options to take the workload of duting key winter months. We need to get better to do better next year. We already have 2 other under performing midfielders and we did in the second half get away with some of the performances.

I don't understand the love Badger gets from some on here. Kloop obviously didn't like his attitude and he's hardly set the world on fire with two average loans.
If he comes back and proves me wrong well, happy days.

He was loved at Las Palmas.

It sounds like we will probably, and understandably, be sell to buy if we land Frimpong, Wirtz and Kerkez, which will surely impact a striker search. Hopefully we get find a buyer for Nunez, and some others, pretty damn quickly.

You forget the season he and him Fabs were our back line because everyone else was out injured

Yeah during that stretch of 10-15 games before he got injured he was consistently our best midfielder even though he only played because of injuries. He was the only one who could tackle / pass, the state of our midfield then. I think he even won young player of the month. Then he got injured and he was never allowed back, which was kinda weird. Perhaps something happened behind the scenes but the promise he had shown when he did play for us was undeniable. He was only 18 then.

I don't recall evidence that Klopp disliked his attitude. Once introduced to the team, Klopp played him into the ground, likely contributing to his injury.

He went on loan to what was supposed to be a nice place to develop but Salzburg ended up being a burning tire fire, so he left to Las Palmas where he's done rather well.

Is he the solution to all our concerns? Probably not. Is he a want-away, attitude case? I've seen literally nothing to suggest this is true.

I'd like to see him give a chance this season so we know what we have, unless a real top dollar bid comes in, which is unlikely.

Stefan was fine, but there was supposedly attitude issues. I can't imagine slot would allow such nonsense in his thoughts.

Loan him to a prem team of no one wants to buy him this year
