Depends on your point of view, I guess, but if I were Thomas Frank there's no way I'd leave Brentford to go to Tottenham and work for Daniel Levy.

Spurs are a much bigger club. Brentford are unlikely to challenge for anything so on top of a much higher salary there is much greater potential, especially considering how Spurs foundered under Ange.

I don't actually disagree with any of that, but it leaves out the fact that Brentford are in a good place whereas Spurs are a mess and likely to remain so with Levy at the helm who, like Woodward at ManU previously, is good on the money side but hopeless at footballing decisions. I might be tempted if they were taken over and I were OK with the new ownership but, as things currently stand, I wouldn't touch them with yours.

There’s also Scott Munn still there, I think, as Director of Football, but not as high profile as Levy - prior to that he was at Melbourne City and then ran City Groups Asian football operations - so he’s a bit more football orientated.

The thing is, as well run as. Brentford are, it doesn’t really matter.

Spursy though, money and likely the temptation of being the one that fixes them - they’ve got some decent players and reasonable young talent - they should be doing better than they arez

Liverpool have signed goalkeeper Armin Pecsi from Hungarian side Puskas Akademia. Pecsi, 20, is a Hungary Under-21 international and was a nominee for the 2025 Golden Boy award. He made 30 appearances for Puskas last season as they finished second in the Hungarian top flight.
