Liverpool related transfer speculation

Who would you rather get. Guhi has prem experience and it might be the case we get him cheaper from Palace, may be even £30m
But it won't be. Chelsea and arsenal are also interested, so it becomes a bidding war, and whatever we end up agreeing to pay will probably be more than it should be

He's a decent CB, but is prone to concentration lapses

Loaning Quansah to Leverkusen might be an option, unless they’re willing to pay top dollar.

I saw some tenuous link to Diomande at Sporting the other day - he potentially ticks a lot of boxes.

just googled him, great thighs, @moron will approve.. firmly

He’s big & athletic - tick for Moron
He’s not Dutch - another tick for Moron
He’s African and sort of young - tick for binomial
He’s not Italian - tick for Momo
He’s someone not currently at the club - tick for Bluebell.

That’s all the big swinging ticks looked after!!!

All CBs are. I saw Saliba making some horrendous mistakes in the last few games of the season.

We have not made permanent any loan move for any player, I am quite easy to satisfy then.
You do have a contingent who dislike the purchase of African players due to them being unavailable for 6 weeks every two years.

Not sure who we are talking about but you say he is African - that is a worry - AFCON alert.

Thats some crazy rumour. Lets say we have the money Bercola is not for sale unless UEFA decide that PSG need to comply with financial regulations

Makes for exciting reading from the outside as The Guardian are usually a reputable source until you click on the article only to see it's basically BBC's version of the gossip column.

Starting to wonder if we've been secretly taken over by Elon or someone, maybe some newly formed Elon and Trump joint enterprise.

Hence the word "crazy". Bercola is not for sale anyway. When you're owned by trillionaires, a £100m bid is nothing.

Mitchel White has joined Liverpool from Rangers as a first-team physical performance coach.

White had been First Team Physical Performance and Reconditioning Coach at the Ibrox club since April 2024.

He joined Rangers in 2021 as a Sport Scientist in the academy, before taking up a role as First Team Assistant Performance Coach in August 2023.

He has now left the Scottish club to join the Premier League champions.

He’s from Senegal. They play in AFCON.

From Senegal you say? Hmm….

great movie but the directors cut is 😳

a link to an african and a south american young player in recent days is nice. i just hope we could allow such players to develop without involvement in all the multi club ownership nonsense.

15 years old 🤔 😛

Sidy Barhama Ndiaye is a 15-year-old winger who plays for Diambars F.C. and Senegal U-17.

Ndiaye is a fairly small winger, standing around 5’6″ (1.67 m) with a slight build. However, he makes up for this by being incredibly fast, probably the fastest U-17 player I have ever seen. When you consider he was born in 2009 and is technically playing up an age group, you have to believe this is a player who could eventually become one of the fastest in the world. His pace means he is good for at least one or two 1v1s against the keeper per game. But the rest of his game is a little bit rough around the edges. Ndiaye’s speed can help him beat players 1v1, but there were several times in this tournament when he tried to push a ball past a player and just kicked it straight out of play. He also sometimes just runs into blind alleys or across the field without actually beating any players. His passing is quite poor, leading to frequent giveaways. Some of his shot selection, when he isn’t running in behind the opposition defence, can be quite wasteful. He takes too many low-percentage shots from 25+ yards out.

Ndiaye’s pace means that he wins a lot of fouls. If he gets the better of an opponent, they often have no choice but to foul him or else he will quickly pull away from them. His pace can also be useful on the defensive side of things as he is able to close players down quickly and wins the ball with decent regularity.

I don’t think Ndiaye has the technical ability to reach the top-5 leagues. However, his speed means that he will always have a certain baseline of productivity. I could see him having a solid career in a league like the Austrian Bundesliga or the Belgian Pro League.
