Liverpool related transfer speculation

From that list we've bought one mental as fuck player and two injury prone cunts made of uncooked pasta. No wonder Italians don't do well over here.

People do realise before Ibou, the list of French players who represented us included; Sakho, Diomede, Cissokho, Cisse, Cheyrou & Ngog right?

If you sign shit players when you know at the time they're shit, newsflash....don't be surprised when they turn out that very same way.
Anelka

Wasn't there an Italian player at Valencia during Rafa's time there...

Had to Google....

Carboni! Left back. Won the league twice with Valencia.

The Italian player talk reminds me of Balotelli. Remember the pictures of the fans outside of Anfield celebrating like we had won the Champions League when we signed him? People had lost their minds.

I know I slagged him off for all of last season, but I am going to Trust Hughes and the recruitment team. They've done their research. My big concern is injuries. Is he going to get Nabiutus coming here.

Can I remind everyone about Fabio Borini? It looks like we're all too scared to speak his name, like he's fucking Candyman or something.
Hah! I did forget Borini.

Although of all the Italian players listed so far, the only one I had any hopes for was Aquilani. The rest were stopgaps or fingers-crossed-he-comes-good kind of players.

15 years old 🤔 😛

Sidy Barhama Ndiaye is a 15-year-old winger who plays for Diambars F.C. and Senegal U-17.

Ndiaye is a fairly small winger, standing around 5’6″ (1.67 m) with a slight build. However, he makes up for this by being incredibly fast, probably the fastest U-17 player I have ever seen. When you consider he was born in 2009 and is technically playing up an age group, you have to believe this is a player who could eventually become one of the fastest in the world. His pace means he is good for at least one or two 1v1s against the keeper per game. But the rest of his game is a little bit rough around the edges. Ndiaye’s speed can help him beat players 1v1, but there were several times in this tournament when he tried to push a ball past a player and just kicked it straight out of play. He also sometimes just runs into blind alleys or across the field without actually beating any players. His passing is quite poor, leading to frequent giveaways. Some of his shot selection, when he isn’t running in behind the opposition defence, can be quite wasteful. He takes too many low-percentage shots from 25+ yards out.

Ndiaye’s pace means that he wins a lot of fouls. If he gets the better of an opponent, they often have no choice but to foul him or else he will quickly pull away from them. His pace can also be useful on the defensive side of things as he is able to close players down quickly and wins the ball with decent regularity.

I don’t think Ndiaye has the technical ability to reach the top-5 leagues. However, his speed means that he will always have a certain baseline of productivity. I could see him having a solid career in a league like the Austrian Bundesliga or the Belgian Pro League.

Sorry old pal but that's not how I remember it, two admittedly memorable goals aside. I was never confident in his defending, which was what he was mainly there for.
