Yes , that seems to be it, the other thing they maybe looking at is if he is on the same level when VVD is not playing. If not then that might make his rating the same as some other defenders on the market who are not earning 200K wages.

Madrid bound eventually.

See Xabi has asked Madrid to block any deals for Stiller with Liverpool and he wants him at Real.
If that happens then I give up.

I want us to get Stiller, think he's an extremely talented and intelligent footballer.
I know it's not a priority but if a deal was there to be made then why not? Especially if it's for price quoted below...
