Liverpool related transfer speculation

If he has raped a woman, he should be behind bars, not sure why CPS would need this long to decide if they have enough evidence? Men also get falsely accused and have their lives ruined like Mendy. Unlike Mason Greenwood where we had audio evidence that he was raping her and the mo'fo should have been behind bars. There isn't that hard evidence here otherwise the CPS would have prosecuted the case. With Partey he is innocent until proven guilty... or do we dispense with that because he is not of one of our own?

Regardless Partey isn't coming...
The club will spend £40-60M on a Grav back if they feel they need one. So from my POV the conversation can end here on Partey
Stop and think for one second, I know it is hard.

Regardless of the "innocent until proven guilty" argument, which, in honesty, can be an apologists lazy argument in rape cases where the burden of proof is extremely high .... Anyway, putting that aside, you would sign a player when there is a risk he will be charged and possibly end up behind bars, and you would explain to the fans, ownership and media why you thought it a good idea to sign a rape suspect?

If he did rape someone he should behind bars and not playing football. I don't know his case particularly well but if it was incriminating why is the Arse playing him? Unlike Greenwood's case where we heard physical evidence she was being raped. He is damaged goods. BTW someone did suggest we get him.

Lets stick to footballing side. He had a very good season last season, he is available on a free. I wouldn't object to get him as a back-up to Grav but I doubt the club will move that way

The good thing about Gordon is that he can play up front too, but he's not a better winger than Diaz.

Have we suddenly become Chelsea and have a need to sign everyone?

Nope but this was all explained to you months ago but you choose to not listen. This was never not going to be anything but a busy summer, it was the position we put ourselves in after years of inactivity.

Plus getting all the business we needed done early in a short space of time isn’t “signing everyone”, it’s just getting our business done early. July and August will be mostly quiet. Being linked with 50 odd players is nothing new.

We need to start signing some young players too. I mean u20.
why though? They won't get the minutes to develop so it's pointless. They either need to be 1)versatile, or 2) in positions where we are running short (i.e. CB and RW)
