Liverpool related transfer speculation

According to Saudi journalist Hamad Al-Suwailhi, Al Hilal have made an offer for Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez.
"Al Hilal has sent an official offer to the management of the English club Liverpool to purchase the contract of the striker Nunez, who is currently the top choice for head coach [Simone] Inzaghi," the journalist tweeted.
The terms of the offer are not revealed, but Liverpool are certain to consider it as they are open to selling Nunez.
Fabrizio Romano has stopped short of confirming the bid, but he says that the clubs will continue to be in talks for the next few days.

More on Tribuna.com:

It’s all down to whether Nunez wants to go or not. He doesn’t seem to have a queue of teams willing to pay much for him so maybe it’ll happen. It’s either that, or warm the bench now that we have new power up front.

I think he'll go. World cup year and he'll want match fitness.

Not sure if that's the best move for him give the club's turmoil.

Doesn't make much sense to me how one minute a club can be "officially" relegated, then in the blink of an eye the decision's been overturned, seems a bit farcical......then again I don't follow french football enough to know the ins and outs.

Not as much as James Pearce does. Have you seen the size of him?

Thanks Stevie. So I doubt we would forfeit a foreign place for an up & coming prospect ... but who knows.

Anyway, it was Indy tweeting it; it's not as if The Firm are reporting it

If we went for Fofana as a forward option we’d get 2 seasons of him as an U21.

I presume the Isak domino affect involves Newcastle getting Sesko and us selling Nunez, if we’re sign him.

That likely means Chiesa or Tsimikas definitely miss out and we’d still have room for a late move for Guehi if the price was right.

If shit got crazy and we still brought in Rodrygo - then both Tsimikas & Chiesa would have to go.

My feeling is - Nunez goes and Isak gets done - Rodrygo & Fofana don’t happen, Chiesa goes regardless, one of these young CB’s linked above (take your pick) comes in and Guehi gets picked up on a free next summer. Tsimikas stays.

The only other question really is what happens with Elliot.

We don't need both Robbo and Tsimi, one of them has to go. Tsimi would get us £10-15m and open up a non-HG player spot if we need it. If we get Isak and Guehi, it will be a 10/10 window imho
