Liverpool related transfer speculation

I think it was Ryan that messaged me on Koptalk when SCM started, but didn't join for a few months after that I think. Haven't been on any other football forum since!

I think we leaked the "we're happy to keep Harvey" stories to force Leipzig to sell. Feels like they were waiting for Chelsea to come back and we got fed up

He's right you know. You joined right after @Vlads Quiff. Long gone, but not forgotten

My join date looks like it's two days before him (not sure why he wouldn't have arrived the same time or before, but anyway). So there's something odd going on with user numbers not matching the order you join like you'd expect.

Wasn’t there some site migration to new platforms since? Could have been reindexed since. Just a guess.

It’s funny. I said something in the shout box koptalk had. Like wondering where everyone has gone. Someone told me about this place.

Then I joined and Ryan O hare wouldn’t let me in. Claiming I said something about him: he could see I didn’t - then - Someone told him I was a “sound lad” or something and open sesame 😆
You are welcome!

Wait, is it true Pat? 😆
Given Ryan's consistent feelings towards Dreamy, I think this is clearly a jape. A Dreamy recommendation would be the kiss of death. Interesting that Ryan wanted to implement the kind of cuntish regime we had in KT. Which isn't entirely surprising.

So that Liverpool were involved in this transaction too.* It serves the FSG interests greatly for Leipzig to sell Simons so that they would be keen to obtain a replacement in the form of Elliott. It is also in their interest to associate Elliot's value (asking price) with that of Simons. Even though they are T O T A L L Y different players. Elliott is NOWHERE, NEARLY in the league as the same sort of a player as Simons. Simons has a true world class potential. Elliott never had it. What Elliott has is relatively good experience playing in England and at a top club and in a top league. But his experience is not great. He was always a sub. A useful sub who never proved himself as a great goal-scorer nor assist-maker.

Personally, I would have much, much, muuuuuuch preferred the FSG to obtain Simons in exchange for Elliott, even if it means not obtaining Isak.

* I think that Liverpool are now clearly dominating the non-Spanish and non-Latin football market. What they do carries great value. So that what others do and end up doing happens afterwards as secondary instances. Liverpool have options to make their choices first. If they don't make good choices they can pass up great opportunities. Getting Ekitike AND Isak while avoiding the clear availability of Simons I personally see as an error. Again, Ekitike and Isak are the same type of a player. They cannot play together. While Simons can play anywhere up front. Can replace Salah. Can replace Wirtz. Can replace Gakpo. Has great pace and energy. Can come off the bench. Had no major injury problems.

Knowing what a pain I always find it to be to post images on here, I have to hand it to the "bot" for the effort in adding graphics in every post. I could almost tolerate him/her if it wasn't for the horrible condescending tone of most of the posts - even if I persuade myself that it is AI generated and not a real person speaking, it still makes me cringe

Honestly dude, you can just copy bits of the article without copying the headline from a paper as jpeg and then uploading it as pic. Also, other people have posted the tweet

Probably because it’s easier to do that as a bot to use automation to take screenshot than to extract relevant text.

Potentially linked to when a user accepted site terms. Dunno
