Spurs, Chelsea and Arsenal lost leaving the 2 Manc teams, and Aston Villa v Blackburn to fight for the honour. This means only no more London Teams are in the mix.

Arsenal is looking shaky once again after the international break and the loss of RVP.

Chelsea's Ancelotti made some very strange decisions like making 3 subs at half time and putting a raw youngster to take the final penalty! Thye played with 10 men at the end with an injury to a player.

Maybe the Londoners do not fancy this cup but Ancelotti made the strangest decisions and paid for it. If Rafa had done that, this forum will be painted red with his blood.

The difference is Ancelotti's 'gambles' are made in Tin Pot cups, not the league.

I wouldn't be calling for him to be hung and quartered.

I don't care if Rafa stays or goes.

However, if a better option came along like Marueen or Hiddink, then yes, I would take it.

He wants to walk into a ready built sqaud and just coach them, that is his strength.
He would be a step backwards in the long-term.

Many would argue that Rafa's squad is already 'ready made' title contenders. It's essentially the same squad who were pipped to the post last year.

It's essentially the same side, yeah, except that gaping hole in midfield, caused by the departure of player so crucial to our way of play, we can barely attack/pass/defend in his absence. After all, it Torres left Oxford City it would be essentially the same side.

That said, United are coping admirably without Tevez and Ronaldo so maybe you have a point.
