The champions tour begins at the emptyhad. Guardiola has said they’ll do a guard of honour.

[article]“Of course we are going to do it,” said Guardiola. “We are going to do the guard of honour of course.[/article]

I would put out our best XI which started against Palace. I’d want to absolutely destroy them. A real embarrassment of a score. They absolutely shite at the back and we’d have so much joy with their high line.

Aguero is out and I doubt they’d risk Jesus or De Bruyne with the chance of the European cup.

We’ll win 6-0.

It will be their 3rd game in 7 days. They are missing their best striker and defensive mid. We should go at them full throttle, they are weak in the middle. Should be a good game.

Does Fernandinho's ban apply to the our game or today's FA Cup tie?

Be nice to hump them in their own back yard but ultimately it doesn’t matter a toss as we are the champions!

I used to hate when we’d beat Utd and their fans would just come back with ‘well we are gonna win the league so who cares’

This is all true.

I'm not gonna lie though, I want to fucking destroy them. Batter them & defecate on the corpse of their team.

oh absolutely and I loved that when asked Robbo said they are highly motivated to smash the points record.

I don’t get this anti climax shite.

we get 4 weeks of champions victory football with zero pressure. Soak it up and drink it in boys because as soon as the new season starts it’ll be forgotten by everyone else and the pressure and nerves to go agsin will kick in for fans.

the next 630 mins of football are going to be the most enjoyable for 30 years.

I'm hoping that Klopp will be using the five subs & lack of pressure to take the reins off a bit. Let them find a bit of that balls out attacking from a couple of seasons ago occasionally & embarrass sides.

That said, there's also a golden gloves for Allison to bear in mind.

Indeed... as it happens It doesn't matter a jot as we are now the champs now and they aren't but nonetheless... I remember their piss-taking celebrations last year when in fact the difference between us was 11mm and dodgy ref... FUCK EM... I really want us to do em...

We've only got the league games left to play for, lets start with the best XI, then sub on the kids when we're a couple of goals up in games.
The fume are raging that we'll break their points record and the only saving grace for them might be that they might get a result in the next game. I'd go all out to win all these final games and get a record points haul that'll never be beaten.

.............Alisson
Trent...Gomez..Virgil...Robbo
...........Don't mind X3
Salah.......Bobby...........Mane

We need the points, we need to surpass their points record and take away the centurions moniker that side has claimed

Neco need 4 games.
Jones and Elliott needs 3 games.
Why? I thought it was now a case of X medals are given to the club and they can give them to whoever they deem deserving? Or is that CL ? Or did I dream it !

You're right and I might be wrong but given medals is not the same as earning a medal through appearances. I heard some pundits talk about 5 pl games in order to be officially counted as a premier League winner.

Must say I have a slightly different take. If they have contributed to the team this year (regardless of competition) in any substantial way then they are deserving because if they came on as a sub, if they played in the FAC or CL or LC or WCC then they were part of the team and in playing gave a rest to others that possibly allowed them to perform better in subsequent PL games and win points.
Obviously it's a PL winners medal but I tend to think of it, rightly or wrongly, as a reward for having contributed to the LFC season.

This means, with a slightly higher criteria than for just PL games alone : Adrian (18 games - 46 times in a squad), Williams (6 -16), Jones (8 -19) and Elliot (8 - 14) should be shoe-ins. Whilst Kelleher (4-18) and even Hoever (3-8) could be considered.

The club can also strike as many medals as they want.

I think Klopp would insist any player who has played for the club at all will get one. He constantly cites that the training against ressies is key to the first team playing so well, for example.

I agree, I think they should get a medal. I'm talking about "officially" getting a medal. Like counted as league winners by the FA. That's why they need 5 appearances

And he is obviously going to make sure Kenny and Stevie get one each

I'd quite like Milner to start as I know he'd play his heart out.

------------Alisson------------
TAA--Gomez--VVD--Robbo
------------Fabinho-----------
----Hendo--------Milner-----
Salah-----Firmino------Mane

Would be great to be revolving in the youth as much as possible later in the game, particularly Elliot, Williams, Jones.

Can't see any way Millie starts but we'll see. I think Klopp will choose Gini to start.
