I actually think we've been a bit better this half than some on here are saying. A bit unlucky not to have had a penalty, and we're getting a lot of attacks down our right. Shelvey and Flanagan probably being our best two this half.

I think we can do them in the second half. Although, having said that, I wouldn't be surprised if Newcastle were to get another and our heads will go down again.

as for carroll I think he slipped rather than dived, he was past the keeper so there was no reason to dive.

How Kenny is supposed to turn this around I have no idea. Relegation form since Christmas. Its fucking tiring to watch. But, ah well, we're apperantly making progress.

I think Hansern mentioned it earlier, but this game has basically been our season in an egg shell. We've dominated, had plenty of good chances (Carroll should have 3), should be a man up and yet we're down 1-0 on a brilliant finish. It's frustrating, but I like what I've seen from the team overall.

Did Peter Crouch ever go down this much? He weighed less than Carroll's pony tail ...
