Jesus ! Modo - he's just won the PL. In his first season. Just our 2nd in 35 years. He could finish in the bottom half of the table next season and I'd still take it for this title.

WTF. Do they have to think about the next game 24 hours a day until next Sunday? It's well known that the likes of Google insisting on their staff having nap times each day and going on holidays etc. leads to improved performance. Mental fatigue is as real as physical.

Yeah and also going away as colleagues and getting battered Vs having to spend time with family when the season ends. Surely it's a good thing

But remember that he was in Ibiza with his family last summer. He clearly likes it there, not like winning the title has all of a sudden made him adopt a new lifestyle.

Slot just led this club to the title (one almost nobody thought we'd win) in his first season. As long as he keeps us challenging for the big prizes he's all right by me.

I don't think it's anything to do with Ibiza or the Dubai. The players both regular and fringe seem to lose their fight once the job is done. Thats the irony of winning the title early with games to spare. Its like the whole club shuts off. It happened with Klopp as well in 2020, we had a great chance of creating PL record and outpacing ManC 100+ points but it seemed nobody really cared.
I think it's important to mention that Anfield was empty at the time.
I’d prefer the players to switch off for as long as possible after being on it nonstop for three years.

I don't understand the outcry in all honesty. Slot taking his backroom staff for a trip and the players going off on some well deserved R&R for a few days.
There has been an ongoing saga about fatigue this season and now that the league is won we're giving the players and the coaches some well deserved time off.

Exactly. For me these next 2 games mean less than nothing. The previous 2 i think there was a bit of pride and potential forward planning to consider, but right now I don't give a single fuck
