Miscellaneous - liverpool thread

Yep, big fan. Don't usually pay too much attention to kits but that one's definitely my favourite of them all too.

Is she even a fan? Football kits are in style now. I've seen really fit girls who couldn't give a toss about football walking around with PSG, Barca, Real etc kits

They'll start caring when one of them gets mugged, sexually assaulted, stabbed etc by a rival fan.

If you can't be arsed with twitter -

🚨𝗡𝗘𝗪 - @_ChrisBascombe: Last summer, Liverpool became aware that Luis Díaz was keen on a move to Manchester City. In response, the recruitment team suggested a swap deal involving Julián Álvarez.

City quickly shut it down: “We don’t sell to rivals.”
Liverpool replied: “Neither do we then.”

City ended up selling Álvarez to Atlético Madrid, Díaz stayed at Anfield, and Liverpool’s only major signing was Federico Chiesa for £10m

She is - I checked out her wall. She buys the kits and goes to games. She isn't buying other team kits

... And we won the title.

That exchange between us and City reminds me of an exchange of telegrams many years ago between the playwright George Bernard Shaw and a famous actress of the time, Mrs.Patrick Campbell, with whom he had a love/hate relationship, after she appeared in one of his plays:

GBS to Campbell: "Magnificent."
Campbell to GBS: "Not worthy of such praise."
GBS to Campbell: "I was referring to my play, Madam, not to your acting."
Campbell to GBS: "So was I."

Who haven't you met? Did you meet him during the time of the Boer Wars?

"Independent distributor Altitude and Prime Video will release KENNY DALGLISH, a cinematic portrait of an iconic figure who defined a generation from Asif Kapadia, the Oscar and BAFTA winning director of SENNA, AMY and DIEGO MARADONA.

KENNY DALGLISH will play in cinemas across the UK and Ireland for One Night Only on Wednesday 29 October and will then launch on Prime Video in the UK and Ireland from 4 November.

Sir Kenny narrates his own journey, joined by his wife Marina and closest footballing friends Graeme Souness and Alan Hansen and other fans. Drawing from hundreds of hours of archival footage, including never-before-seen personal clips from his playing career and home life, the film reveals his remarkable story - a great player and an extraordinary, witty, and humble hero of Liverpool, Glasgow, and the world of football.
With skill, strength, flair, and sharp humour, the Scotsman is one of Liverpool FC's and Europe’s greatest players and a true icon of the sport for what he did off the pitch as much as on it."

Stefan has a season to try and impress slot if he wants to. I don't believe he wants to. Not a great start when you spend the entire summer whoring yourself around Spain whilst recovering from injury.

I hear that Wharton prefers a move to Us. Probably wants to be closer to friends and family, since he's from Blackburn.

good player but i do feel a little bad for palace fans watching a good side picked apart. nature of being a palace fan i suppose.
