Mo Salah 2025/26 Season

Sick and tired of watching this cunt play for 90mins every game, have the balls to sub his weak ass when he's doing fuck all but stinking the gaff out, losing the ball, losing duels and misplacing simple passes every time. 3 absolute stinkers in a row.
You were praising him last season after being wrong about him. Stop over reacting, we can’t sell another season.

He's seriously frustrating to watch. But have to hand it to him, he has a never say die attitude and will try full on until the final whistle.
I'll never be his biggest fan because I hate watching a player lose the ball 9 out of 10 times, but can't deny his record for assists and goals are ridiculous. He makes that 1 in 10 really count, more than any other player.

I don't believe he tried 'full on' at any point of last night's game. Good pass for the winner but largely anonymous and definitely guilty of hiding. Didn't help Szobo in defence, rarely made runs into space to show for the ball. Wasn't a great one for him.

Because he was actually being productive despite being shite, now he's just being shite.

Arne needs to start subbing his arse when he's playing like a meff head.

I don't think the ball goes to him as much anymore - most of the stuff is happening on the left hand side. That is why it looks like he does nothing, but if Jones gets that 2nd goal in the first half when Salah crossed, then we would all be not talking about him. I have learnt not to lay into Salah now, its pointless - why do we do it to ourselves by having a go at him everytime he has a quiet game yet gets the goal(s) or the assist ?

He was shite yesterday but I didn't moan about it until the 90th. He's inevitable. He was fucking muck yesterday though

Yup - should have taken him off before he assisted the goal. That would have shown 'em

Should've taken him off at 2-0, probably would've ended up winning 4-0. 1 pass across goal which he actually managed to find a red shirt doesn't make up for the 99mins prior of utter fucking dross.

Such a stretch calling it an assist ! Was a simple inside pass to Dom - and the goal was all about Dom having the nouse to step over knowing Rio was behind him. It should have been Dom's assist but that's not how it works.

Agree except for the pass to Jones which he should have scored from. For us it was also like playing with 10 men hence why we were under the cosh. Had that been say Frimpong with Bradley behind him then at least we'd have a man over.

May as well start rejoicing over Gakpo's 2 assists too in all. The reason why people don't is because they're standard short inside passes, same with Mo.

And should have had another assist, but Jones fluffed his lines. Salah was not great, but the least of our problems.
Agreed. He’s been a slow starter this season but still has a goal and assist in two games.

He’ll score against Arsenal.

Yep - after 9 seasons - I have given up now on having a go at him.
I don’t see him ever improving. Lost cause.

Regarding the assist, officially that’s how it’s given. Ball from the byline, why would it not be? Seems like some are going long way to argue against a defined assist by stat experts. Dom has a habbit of nof taking shots on last season and had annoying habbit of dummying/passing at key moments last year when I thought he should take responsibility from what I recall but this time was absolutely right move as Rio was in a better position.

Salah is surely very unhappy with a "relatively" slow start when it comes to his scoring. Out of 7 goals Liverpool has scored in the first two PL games he scored only once. But he is still Salah, links up very well, is strong in challenge and can assist very calmly and well. He is growing into a properly experienced striker. This was a lovely ball he served on a plate for Curtis Jones.

What is it with your screenshots?
I'm convinced it's a real user using a bot. Some posts are definitely bot made, some are made by the human behind the user just to throw us off the scent. No one screenshots youtube highlights with the button panel visible. Also, why not post the fucking link as well?

He is a fwd, his job is to score or assist in both games he fulfilled his job description. Pick on someone else like Konate because its the defence where the problem lies

& for the other 89mins it's genuinely like playing with 10 men, everyone knows it but none of these fuckers wanna admit it.

Constantly puts us under pressure with his cheap giveaways, running into defenders, pussying out of duels and being too much of a lazy cunt to work for the team going backwards. He hasn't really built up any kind of understanding so far with Wirtz or Hugo either.

His minutes need to be managed and he can't allowed to continually play 90 mins every PL/CL game, plain and simple.

As he said in a interview, for him to be as productive he can't be running up and down, regardless of how bad he does, he delivers. Why do you think us putting on the bench would be better and who play up front and whats the formation?

Loads of incorrect points but main one, Wirtz and Hugo's job is to align with an existing team when they join as new joiners and not other way around.
If you bother to watch some of the post game analysis, there was one where they pointed how many times Salah wasn't getting the ball on his side and was constantly going down the left, it was all too predictable about Mo's faults.
Ok so let's go with your view, and start Salah on the bench. Who would you play instead up front with what we have now currently?

from chelsea reject/egyptian pennant to selfish/does not pass/mane makes him look good to past it to that kind of simple assist shouldn't be called an assist.

i agree with bluebell. when we have a forward who averages a goal involvement a game. play him. we almost guaranteed a goal at least per game. maybe i am an old school. but for me. a forward/striker primary job is to make goals. a defender primary job is to prevent goals.

if a forward can make goal in every game but never defend. play him. if a defender always prevents goals but never score, never dribbles past player, never make defense splitting pass. play him.

and he almost never injured. always available except during afcon.

if he could not 'guarantee' goal. like tail end of last season. bench him. but for now. he is keeping up with that 'guarantee'. so. play him.

Yeah but you're part of the Mo Salah superfan club, just like you were Trent, so of course you'll be 1 that turns a blind eye whenever he fucks up. Poor Mo Salah never gets the ball down his side, get the fuck outta here man.

Salah doesn't have the legs anymore to be productive for a full 90, that's been evident for over 2 years. Sit his arse on the bench for a bit and either sign a new winger that has some self confidence to beat a man and the balls to work, or play Szobo/Harvey/Rio/Frimpong.
