ShaqI think it's quite telling in that clip that Slot said "Florian has managed to find Salah many times". Not since Coutinho have we had a "creator" in midfield. Our central midfielders have always been more of a destroyer role under Klopp and the creation was left to the wings, eg a False 9 Firmino, Salah, Diaz or Trent with his long balls. I think it is promising we finally have someone who could find the space and break the lines in the final 3rd and tread balls through although he hadn't completely found his groove yet. This might be truly Slot ball and I feel it will add a new dimension to our play. We saw flashes of the Wirtz / Isak combination and it will be spectacular when they start getting into it.
didn't make him any less of a creatorShaq was shit the majority of the time.
Except he wasn't a very good one for Liverpool.didn't make him any less of a creator
"I agree, I don't see him as any kind of hero. He had his moments, though: the goals against Man U, the cross for Gini, the pass to Jota, a few free kicks. But unfortunately, what I mostly remember is that he was injured all the time."Except he wasn't a very good one for Liverpool.
He had the occasional good highlights reel which failed to show all the poor stuff he did in a game but mostly he contributed little
and doesn't deserve the reverence that he gets from some. He is like a previous incarnation of Chiesa,
Some people cite the semi final second leg against Barca as if he was the hero of the night. They rightly remember his peach of a cross for Gini to head the equalizer but forget that he was shit for the rest of the game.
That encapsulates for me his time at Liverpool and I say that as someone who was originally cautious about his preceding reputation but was won over by his attitude while at Liverpool.
A decent player but not Liverpool standard by the time he got here.

While I agree with you that he didn't play as much as anticipated which of course affected his overall contributions, I'm inclined to think he didn't get those chances because he wasn't doing enough in his match day performances to merit them.I rarely disagree with you, but I do about some of the above. He hardly ever got a run in the side so, respectfully, references to his mostly contributing little are a bit puzzling. I agree his time with us wouldn't deserve "reverence" but then I don't think anyone's actually given him that. Saying that at times he deserved more of a chance (and obv.there's room for two views about that) is rather different.
He aint top goalscorer , thats Ekitike 3/5, Mo has 2/5 in league. But Mo has that CL goalsublime assist today.
Make that 6 games into the season.
Top goal scorer
Top assister
And some silly cunts wanted him dropped
He is in for all games which is most important. He aint top goalscorer , thats Ekitike 3/5, Mo has 2/5 in league. But Mo has that CL goal

Where did 4 come from?Huh? They both have 4 goals so far this season. Unless you're including friendlies?
Where did 4 come from?
If he stays this season and next he should claim top spot which is absolutely outrageous considering the number of goals he’s scored, the selfish tag that plaqued him for the first 5/6 seasons and having to watch Nunez miss chances he’s laid on a plate week in week out for 3 years.
Ha ha oops ya, top 5 it is!You mean top spot in that picture, right? That's 5th place currently held by Frank Lampard, 102. Rooney at 4th with 103, so that's within reach as well.
The top, top spot is Ryan Giggs at 162. And then there's a yawning gap to de Bruyne (2nd) at 119. Followed by Fabregas (3rd) at 111.
Salah is not touching Giggs. Not sure if he can catch Fabregas even.
Yep. The focus will be on the finish, and rightly so, but the assist was sublimeGreat assist today.
Joint ninth is not an accolade lol
No but I think he will goto 4th by the end of this season.Joint ninth is not an accolade lol
