And Gakpo missed from close range. Where's the crucifix for him?
The United game we have tried, we weren't fully functioning but we had some heart and effort.
The City game was absymal, when the team isn't trying, I lose my faith in the manager. Salah is just one of the many players that are not performing, for whatever reasons.
Salah isn't an asset we can just ignore. He is here to stay, at least for this season so deal with it. Sure, we can drop him, by all means but it does not necessarily mean the results will improve if we have no other proven goalscorers. And we don't as of now.
It is Slot's job to get the best out of the team and I truly believe he needs to get the best out of one of Salah / Isak, the guaranteed goalscorers, if we are to get anything out the season. Failing which he will likely be gone long before Salah.
