I couldn’t give a fuck about any of them as they aren’t our players and they never will be.
Salah is and is clearly getting some confidence at the tournament and scoring goals.
I’m much rather he return off that back of that than not.
He clearly can as he’s currently the 4th highest goal contributor at the club even while away. He didn’t drop off a cliff in 6 months. He’s declining slowly of course but the main reason his numbers aren’t same is the system and the new players not involving him as much. Obviously that makes sense as he’s not the reigning player of the year who propelled us the title or anything.

I think current LFC team would struggle against fair few of those AFCON teams considering the walking pace we play at currently. There was a stat coming out of against Leeds game where we played something like 35% of the game at walking pace. Was he not meant to leave for AFCON and we would be better off? if this better off with the easiest run I can remember in history then he deserves another pay rise.

So we played a system today where he wasn't by the line, he was in the box a lot, he saw a lot of touches, he didn't have to defend much, the team attacked down the right side and told kerkez to sit to compensate. We did every fucking thing that you could do, to get mo Salah into the position to influence a game.
He did nothing. He didn't take the chances when we were on top, and he didn't influence the game when we weren't. He didn't beat a man. He couldn't use the speed he no longer has and was outpaced on through balls. He fucked up a good crossing opportunity to gakpo. He had two horrible shot attempts.
We were worse with him than with frimpong and symmetry.
He's driving the bus he alleges we throw him under.
This is a player we are paying as though he is a worldbeating phenomenon.

He's probably finished yeah. But I'd get another manager in pronto and see if they can do anything with him from now until the end of the season. Because this fucking chancer has Space Jammed pretty much every fucking cunt he comes into contact with.
We should have sold him when slot dropped him, then got rid of slot and made it easy for the next guy to not have to deal with him.

Speed and skills gone in less than a year. Playing without them is exactly what we've seen in the last 15 games.
