NFL offseason, Draft and 2022/2023 season

The hate.

Hurts isn’t peaking too soon, he’s just finally getting to the level where should be playing.

Need some injuries back.

Vikings are strong.

Eagles are building their self belief which is absolutely critical for a run at the Super Bowl.

No hate - just realistic analysis on a team that still has as many questions as any NFC 'contender'.
They'll be in the mix at the end, and maybe even a good playoff run, but I don't think their defense is 'great' enough to carry Hurts if he struggles in the playoffs (which they're basically locked on to make)

Think the Vikings are strong but have an issue ... Cousins ... he's shown time and time again he's a liability

Agree. We've probably got a one of the best offensive teams...bar cousins. Just hoping we can win in spite of him

Went to sleep at 28-14 and then wake up to 28-31 OT loss. Yikes. Seems to be a few bad penalty calls and non conversion at 4th and 3.
Should have won this game, @LeTallecWiz

This shows two issues with the team ...
1) we cannot stop the run - ARod will be shit the rest of the season but against us, we made him look great, because we cannot stop the run and playaction ...
2) we don't run enough - and we should have gone after them non-stop. Doesn't help that both of Dak's INTs were because CD & Dalton didn't run the route properly.

This loss feels deflating - we're a 1 and done playoff team again ... at best.

Agreed about 1. Regarding the two INTs. I cant fathom why we would need to be so aggressive on third down. Up 7-0, just got the ball back on a turnover and instead of forcing that play to Dalton you can run it or check it. Take the 3 points from a FG and be 10-0 up. Instead its 7-7 from the INT.

The second INTs is very poor from CD. He had a great game over all but that was a poor route.

Cant see us beating the Vikings and then you're 6-4 going into the Giants game.

Joint best record in the league now! Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooo THUGGINS

Well that was underwhelming. It's been coming though. Couldn't do a thing to stop pollard all game

I wasnt expecting that. As Romo said the game shifted when you lost the LT.

Cowboys D played angry and pissed after last week.
Crazy pressure which was going to make life hard, even if Derrishaw (or whatever his name) plays (Parsons got his 1st sack while he was in).
This was playing "Cooper Rush" football - pound, pound, pound and pound some more. He set up Cowboys' identity, and with a better QB in #4, we're a dangerous team as long as the defense stays angry/focused and doesn't get abused on the ground.
Not getting carried away though - it is the Cowboys, and until they prove it otherwise, they're at best a one and done playoff team.

Yeah, the defense was something else last night. We looked like we had a proper run offense last night as well.
One of the most improved players in the league this season is Terrence Steel. From penalty liability nr 1 last season to one of the best RT for run blocking in the league this season. What an improvement and looks a proper player.

The one two with Pollard and Zeke is working a treat. Dak was switched on. But the defense was insanely good last night.
Just enjoying it as you never know with us. But a win against the Giants and its starting to feel like it could be a good season despite the early scare.

Get OBJ signed as one more x factor going in to the closing stages of the season.

Yeah Darrisaw going off was a blow, but i could tell what night it would be based on near enough the first play of the night. As soon as cousins was sacked and fumbled I knew he'd shit himself all game. It added hesitancy and a reluctance to do anything thats been missing in recent weeks. It's so fucking frustrating having an offensive line that strong, but a quarterback that weak
