lots of people talking about VVD losing his pace, but he could be 70 years old and still be faster than prime Hyppia.
Hyppia was an incredible player for us, but could only function in a side that had a deep back line. Would not have been able to play in a Klopp team.

I'd take Hyypia over VVD in a Gerrard Houllier side, although I agree VVD is more well rounded and overall the better player.

Agree. I loved big Sami, but Virgil's at least as good at the things Sami himself did well and has a fair bit more to his overall game.
