PL Opposition Tidbits

Was out injured for almost the entire 24/25 season, playing only 4 games. Season before that, 15 league games, 20 games total.
Not sure if he can catch Gareth Barry. Feels like this will be his final season in the league.

This is how Guardiola is being manipulated at Manchester City. Notice that question: "Do you have it clear in your head..." which of his goalkeepers will start. That is the sort of information journalists probe for so as to be able to consequently affect what Guardiola thinks of his goalkeepers, and so that he could, therefore, be manipulated.

That stuff is extremely prevalent in England. The biggest targets of that sort of manipulation in England are Tottenham Hotspur FC and Manchester City FC. There has been a long-lasting and still-ongoing campaign against Manchester City conducted by the Premier League which is run and controlled by Manchester United interests. That has been so since the creation of the Premier League.

In my opinion. Perhaps I will provide further examples of that stuff later on including with respect to the Manchester City legal cases which are and were bogus. But they are ongoing. Last year that campaign almost succeeded in making Guardiola leave Manchester City.

Liverpool owners, the FSG, are extremely shrewd. Part of the reason why they have been able to restore Liverpool FC as a very top club in England is because they are shrewd about such things and do not allow their own managers to get so affected. They've struggled a bit with Klopp in that regard because of Klopp's personality. Slot is much, much better and more precise communicator of the club's talking points. That is a big reason why they got him and why he's been successful.

ps Personally I like Guardiola. He's a proper football person. He's devoted to his tactics, etc. Not an ass. He's also always been very respectful towards Klopp and Liverpool, as well as to now Slot. It is a great shame what sort of stuff Man City have been subjected to. The campaign has been relentless and it is still ongoing. Somebody is clearly affecting and playing shenanigans with Guardiola's thoughts about his own keepers. That works via classic spy work. An external organization with bad intentions towards Guardiola and Man City seeks to get its own person employed by Guardiola so as to be able to work within his system. And then that individual is constantly persuaded to mess Guardiola's plans. These sorts of media questions are important for those external actors to get answers about what thoughts Guardiola actually has about things. And then they do their manipulation of the spies and others that Guardiola trusts, and hence of Guardiola himself.

pps And who did Guardiola hire most recently? Interesting.

Get fucked.

Looking at the lineups for the Chelsea-Fulham game and boy does this Chelsea team look shit. I know they have injuries but all the money spent for ... that?

I think Tuchel might end up doing a terrible job with England. He called up Djed Spence from Tottenham for the first time a day ago on the basis of just 2 PL games of this season. And that made big news. I've watched the Tottenham play yesterday. Spence was terrible. Made grave and out of nowhere passing mistakes. He obviously didn't seem like a big stage player ready for the national team.
