Lallana makes things happen. Again. He's just a quality little footballer.

Ibe's a super talent. Has learned how to play the game instead of just playing indoor and trying to dribble round every cunt 8 times.

Credit to Lovren who did an impressive job coming on in that type of game.

And in the space of 6 weeks Emre Can has turned himself into the most important player at the club. It's just fucking mental how good he is.

Skrtel has been brilliant the past few months also.
This has the making of a brilliant young team and it was fairly fucking refreshing that we weren't relying on Sterling to carry the can again.
Great stuff.

Not sure about the most important player at the club bit but that's what I took away from the game as well. He looking ridiculously good right now.

It's hard to believe he's only 21.

We were the better team there, we got robbed for the second goal by a shocking Phil Dowd who was more interesting in treating Harry Kane like his only child than actually refereeing the match, thank fuck the linesman gave him no choice over the penalty, massive win, and some great performances from Moreno, Markovic, Ibe, Can and Skrtel.

Should probably give the keeper a mention too. A really good save and on at least a couple of occasions I was bracing myself for a fuckup only to see Simon come out bravely and clear or catch.

Yep he's been outstanding the past month.
Credit where it's due.

Fucking spot on substitutions from Rodgers today.

Lovren for Gerrard and Lallana for Marko were beautiful. Long may it continue.

Pornstarotelli* started his LFC career today.

Can't wait to see Ibe at LWF.

Agree on how important Can is. We saw a glimpse of the future tonight.

Great: skrtel, Ibe, can
The rest were meh for me.
Ibe looks a great prospect and I don't think he's far off sterlings level. Hopefully he doesn't get ruined at wingback.

I know it's a cliche but that's a game we would not have won earlier in the season. We showed real character after being pegged back twice.

Positives:
Sturridge depsite being rusty (a fully fit Studge would have had at least one goal in the first half) had a hand in two goals. Put off the defenders for ball to drop to Marko and made a cunt of Danny Rose for the penalty.
Skrtel has been fantastic for a couple of months now.
Mignolet continues his massive improvement.
Jordan Ibe. This kid has serious potential. Second proper league start (nothing game at home to QPR aside) and was again one of the best players on the pitch. He made a dick of Danny Rose a few times. His run to win a free kick in the first half was fantastic.
Emer Muthafucking Can. He is some hero. He's so confident on the ball. He's gliding past players while it looks like he's walking. Made a vital block in the first half.
Mario. Didn't nothing else of note after coming on but got the winner. That'll do

Negatives:
Gerrard. Nerves of steel as usual from the spot but the game passed him by. I hope Lucas recovers quickly from his injury
Coutinho showed why people are often frustrated with him. He's got all the talent in the world and players are allowed an off day but he was very poor tonight. At least we have Studge, Sterling, Lallana, Ibe and Markovic as other attacking options meaning no matter who is playing we have decent attacking replacements.
Sahko was all over the place at times. He had several of his brain fart moments and was very poor for Kane's goal. He's been good for a while but his mistakes are becoming more frequent.
The fact that Phil Dowd is a Premier League ref. Seriously, for starters Premier League refs should not be fat. He only gave us the stonewall penalty because a linesman was brave enough to call it (fair play to him by the way. Not enough linos have the balls to do it), he gave them a free kick from a clearly clean and fantastic tackle and then didn't give a penalty when Sturridge was tackled almost identically in the box. Guy is a fucking joke.

The pitch is a bit of a state, hopefully they can do something now with the better weather coming in.

Well spotted. He also almost saved the first after being left exposed, and Dowd cheated on the second. Good work today again.

Brilliant to get that third goal. I thought we might get taken.

Also, as mentioned, great subs by Rodgers. Not always his strongpoint.

A few thoughts ...

Rodgers was spot on with subs tonight - every single sub did his part. Lovren was excellent, Lallana was fantastic for the 3rd goal and Pornstarelli got his 1st in the league.

Mign - another solid display. Maybe ... just maybe ... he can be someone here.

Can - was mocked earlier this season for not knowing how to defend but this lad is fucking quality. Sometimes loses the ball cheaply when he dribbles - but overall, imposes himself on games wherever he plays. His coolness at the back has settled Skittles.

Henderson - a very good game here. My one issue is when we're on the break - he slows the game down too much.

Coutinho - the guy works his socks off and really creates stuff non-stop.

Ibe - wow, just wow. I mean ...

Dowd was an embarrassment. On the other hand it will be all sorts of fun when Mourinho is on the receiving end of one of his 'performances'. The state of his belly it defies belief how he gets through a game at all.

And to rub it in, Gerrard got a booking for that too! Kane took advantage of an offside position to set up Dembele too, and he missed that (together with the linesman). Was just rubbish. And he allowed Walker and friends to stay on the pitch for treatment forever, to run the clock down after they'd equalized.

It was funny that Kane then had the cheek to pick on Sakho after he went down with a convenient cramp. Oh and Skrtel was boss - he was first on the scene to back up his mate when Kane decided to bitch at Sakho for going down.

I also forgot Danny Rose who had at least three fouls in the first half one of which was a quite late slide on Ibe and gave away a penalty managed to not even get a yellow card. Ridiculous

Re Can...not by anyone who can spot a player he wasn't.
Re Henderson...can't agree mate. Some of his first time passes are sublime.

Ming - 7.5
Moreno - 7
Sakho - 6.5
Skrtel - 7.5
Can - 8
Hendo - 6.5
Gerrard - 6.5
Ibe - 7.5
Markovic - 7
Coutinho - 7
Sturridge - 7.5

Lovren - 7
Lallana - 7
Balo - 7

BR - 8

No-one had a bad game and we could and should have won by more. Still Hendo and Gerrard were weak(ish) and allowed them to have too much possession in the final third.
