We weren't sh!te all the way through - we started well but fell away. In some ways that might be more worrying than one bad day at the office would have been.

Yep, it’s crazy that we haven’t looked to get in a genuine alternative. The fetishisation of Endo shouldn’t go beyond a bit of fun as he’s many levels below as a starter.
Nyoni shows promise as a drop lying midfielder but he’s physically some way off yet. If Baleba’s really available and on tiny wages, he’s the upgrade to Endo that we desperately need…but there’s plenty of others out there I’m sure too.
Totally Jones is tragic and is mostly responsible for the issues in this game by being taken off and us losing complete control of midfield. He really needs to learn to stay on the pitch and misplace some passes becsuse 53 passes attempted and completed successfully is just not right.
Managers sometimes don't want to confront star players' preferences (cf.Salah taking penalties). Back in the day it used to frustrate the bejabers out of me when Stevie G took our corners - he should have been in the middle converting them.

Yeah me too. I was always against that - you have one of the best ball strikers in history and he's on corners. WTF.
