I still cant believe we hired him and not Pellegrini.
No, please tell me we didn't...
I still cant believe we hired him and not Pellegrini.
Err, every game is a draw. The last win was for Der Republik. England haven't beaten Ireland since 1916
I'm sorry, Noron Iron are the reigning British Champions.
So there!
Bit Everton thatif it hadn't of been for
Bit Everton that
Why bother with any training at all - it is clear you cannot recreate the Anfield atmosphere at Melwood, for example, so the players are better off sitting on their arses all week & saving it for SaturdaysI hope at least they've practised them. The suggestion you sometimes hear that teams needn't bother doing so "because you can't replicate what it's like in a real match situation" has always seemed daft to me.
It seems that Gerrard is being nursed through training sessions because his groin is playing up again. So after a gruellingthree gameslong World Cup campaign there's a sadly strong likelihood he'll come back not crocked but needing the breaks he had in recent years pre-Rodgers. So there's even more reason to hope that we get him more support in midfield during this transfer window.
Hodge on football:
"I am expecting our players to run around a lot."
Fuck me, I hate Hodgson.
Welbeck has picked up an injury. If Rooney also picks up a knock Hodgson might be forced into picking the correct line-up.
Exactly what I was thinking; Bobby Robson ended up being lauded for his time as England manager but, had Bryan Robson not got injured and Wilkins suspended forcing Bobby Robson to play Beardsley, England would have failed to get out of the group and Robson would have been fired. The last time this kind of thing happened at a World Cup (to Bobby Robson in 1990) England benefited greatly and could even have won it. Not saying that's going to happen this time, but you never know just how much of a payoff it might end up having.
Someone had to post this: I guess it's me, I'm dedicating this to the unusual amount of 6 county lads we have on this site.
Hopefully he'll bench Rooney and play Sterling. But that probably wont happen.
You know idiots in the media will still be talking about the potential of Wayne Rooney for about the next ten years.
It wasn’t easy for her, though, as a staunch Everton girl when Roy went to manage Liverpool in 2010. However, that job was one of Hodgson’s few failures, and he was ignominiously sacked during his first season.
So THAT is why Woy was so coy about his Liverpool-born wife:
She probably set up the tactics for the trip to Goodison. All makes sense now.
What terrible life choices she's made: Everton and Hodgson.
