Cheers for that; haven't seen this all season. Great to see Arsenal's excellent home record against the other teams, and Man Utd's brilliant away record against the rest as well.

Plenty of points to play for but I think we'd be better concentrating on the next game. We made the mistake of speculating last year and it did us no favours.

Anyone got an updates fixture list for us, Arsenal, United, Spurs and Southampton? Our run must look much nicer now we've got City and Southampton out of the way, we just desperately need United to drop point in their big games, especially against us.

United have only lost 1 : 4, despite their poor performances (and the fact I think they'll struggle to make Top 6 never mind Top 4) that's more than acceptable.

Dee put it up one page back !

Burnley (H)
Swansea (A)
Scum (H)
Arsenal (A)
Newcastle (H)
Hull (a)
West Brom (A)
QPR (H)
Chelsea (A)
Crystal Palace (H)
Stoke (A)

I'll reserve judgement till after Weds night. We have more trouble beating teams like Burnley than we do Man citeh.
Beat Utd and the Arse and it's on like konky dong.

Second, third, fourth, all the same really, give or take an extra few pre season games.

As long as we get one of them, I'll be happy enough.

Give or take an extra few million pounds in prize money as well. But fundamentally I agree - getting across the line in at least 4th place is the main thing.

I'd have snapped your hand off for fourth this season, as I've said repeatedly, for financial reasons alone.

When we crash out of the group stages next season (thanks to our awful seeding/lack of European experience points) we can then use the quality striker & midfielder we bought with that cash & our young stars on nice new contracts using that cash to win the league at a canter, going top in December & winning it by ten points by the end of the season, with an fa cup to boot.

I like this....make it happen.

I dont think overhauling a 7 point gap and 20 goal difference on City is going to happen in 11 matches, they would need to collapse in epic fashion for us to be anywhere near getting 2nd place

I reckon 3rd is as high as we can go this season, the games between us Utd and Arsenal will pretty much decide the order, if we beat both we should get 3rd place, but I reckon we will draw with Arsenal and beat Utd. I think the most likely scenario is we finish just behind Arsenal in 4th with Utd 3 or 4 points behind us

Yep. I'm on that boat too.

Manure have a annoyingly easy run in

, Spurs (H), Liverpool (A), Villa (H), City (H), Chelsea (A), Everton (A), WBA (H), Palace (A), Arsenal (H)

Villa and West Brom apart, they could feasibly lose points in every other game in this wee run.

Fuck me, that Utd run in is tough. That said, they've done okay in the big games this season. They'll beat Arsenal at Old Trafford definitely. The Gunners will bottle that.

Second is too far. Think Arse will get third, and a coin toss between us and Utd for fourth. Not quite discounting Spurs and Soton yet, either, but it'd be an upset if either of those finished above us.

I think Spurs and Southampton will finish ahead of Utd

I think they'll win pretty much all their home games, bar the City game. The away games other than the ones at us and Chelsea are ones they'd expect to win. I imagine they'll get around 18/19/20 points from those remaining ten games. Whether we, and the others will overhaul that, I don't know.
