Ok, read/skimmed all 20 pages. Some really clever stuff, a lot of nasty name calling, and the sky is blue.

Not being very well read on this subject, can someone tell me what would have happened if she hadn't "busted the unions", as they say? What was the state of the economy when she did so? If it ruined things as many are saying, what was her rationale and how did she get reelected?

Honest questions. I'm sitting in a hotel room in Houston finishing work and waiting for the men's college b-ball final to start and thought "what would be better than asking rational questions in the 'She's dead' thread on 6CM?"

Have to say, the only shame is that Margaret Thatcher died in her home this morning, rather than in a Brighton Hotel 30 years ago.
