Just been clocking the match on Sky - He looked a little weepy when the match finished. He did the old 'Wave goodbye to the crowd thing' - So if that is the case what are your thoughts on our 25mill midfielder. Sentiment aside and of course injuries took it's toll - However I think he would be classed as a bit of a miss in future times. He had so much potential and at times he could be sublime but he was so inconsistent in the end it was just fucking annoying. Put it this way. I used to to think - "Oh fuck" whenever he started or even (as he did a lot of late) came on as sub. Harsh?

Don't want to sound like a dick, but what potential? He was 26 when we signed him.
He did OK today, ran his legs off but I don't think for one second he meant to shoulder pass that ball to Mané, he actually tried to bring it down.
Oh, I don't think he'll be leaving in the January window. We need bodies at the moment.

Why would a player walk out on a title winner's medal? He'll probably move in the summer for more game time, but I think Taki will be the club's only significant transfer in January.

He was one of the few players who had the stamina and drive to play Klopps game right from the outset and led by example on the first year of Klopp. You can't say for sure but I think he would have been frequently used as an example while Klopp was building and instilling his philosophy at the club. Then the injuries came and the squad just evolved without him and left him behind. There are times when he's brilliant. He has a sublime first touch and will run through walls for you, but ultimately the injuries have taken their toll and there just are not enough strings to his bow to stay at a top club on high wages.

I'll wish him well, but I think both Lallana and the club would have hoped for a better legacy when we signed him.

I think he definitely meant it. His legs are gone but he is capable moments of quality and intelligence.

I will be very surprised if anyone wants to leave before the summer.

Stamina? Didn’t he get subbed after 60 mins constantly?

In any case, overall he was a big let down considering he came for a huge fee at the time. He had one good season where he was our best player for 6 months but overall he’s been injured or poor for the most part.

Have to agree and 6 months is stretching it. As for Stamina and been able to show and play to Klopp's pressing system and all, it was all brainless running about in my view, because it's precisely that pressing that led to his injuries, he actually cannot hack Klopp's system more than a maximum of 2 games.

Hes going nowhere, I doubt he has much ambition left to play regularly anyway or he’d have left 2 years ago.

But since you asked on my thoughts...hes a very gorgeous man.

Id be surprised if he is leaving now, but then again if hes been told that Minamino is taking his spot in the squad and he wont feature anymore in the matchday 18 then maybe he will move on.

Would he still get a medal if that was his last game?

He didn't use to fall / get knocked down all the time. These days he plays like a teenager in a man's game, diving in, running around, trying to impose himself with his speed and intelligence, while crumbling easily when it get physical. And he can't last more than 60 mins.

He could still have a good 2-3 years in a less physical league. Maybe Italy or America could suit him.

Yes, he'd get a medal if he'd been on the pitch five times this year.

Are you serious? Lallana miscontrolled it and was knocked over. Mane wasn't in his vision

Actually, with Minamino coming in perhaps there is something in this. Still would seem a bit odd.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...nd-Adam-Lallanas-Liverpool-contract-year.html
[article]Jurgen Klopp is desperate to keep hold of Adam Lallana for another season with the Liverpool player's contract expiring in the summer.

The England international can sign a pre-contract on Wednesday with a club abroad.

A queue is forming for Lallana's services according to the Telegraph and Klopp knows he is too good to be a squad player.

Paris Saint-Germain could be one of the suitors to sign Lallana next summer in a shock move.

The 31-year-old has also recently been linked with a move to China or the United States.

Lallana has endured much frustration with injuries in recent years and is now a fringe player at Liverpool.

But he did start in the 1-0 win against Wolves on Sunday and is likely to feature in their next two matches against Sheffield United and Everton in the FA Cup.

The midfielder set up Sadio Mane's winner against Nuno Espirito Santo's side.

His contribution helped the Reds move 13 points clear of Leicester at the top of the Premier League with a game in hand. [/article]

There's no game requirement anymore.

The club get X amount of medals, & they can give them out to whoever they want to.

Also, they're allowed to make their own identical replicas to give out to others too, so in all honesty it makes little difference anyway.

That’s Coutinho and Gerrard sorted so

Hes been more than fine when called upon this season, which has been due to injuries, there's zero chance he leaves before the end of the season, irrespective of anyone else beyond mini coming in
