Then the injuries came and the squad just evolved without him and left him behind. There are times when he's brilliant. He has a sublime first touch and will run through walls for you, but ultimately the injuries have taken their toll and there just are not enough strings to his bow to stay at a top club on high wages.

I'll wish him well, but I think both Lallana and the club would have hoped for a better legacy when we signed him.

I think he definitely meant it. His legs are gone but he is capable moments of quality and intelligence.

Stamina? Didn’t he get subbed after 60 mins constantly?

In any case, overall he was a big let down considering he came for a huge fee at the time. He had one good season where he was our best player for 6 months but overall he’s been injured or poor for the most part.

Have to agree and 6 months is stretching it. As for Stamina and been able to show and play to Klopp's pressing system and all, it was all brainless running about in my view, because it's precisely that pressing that led to his injuries, he actually cannot hack Klopp's system more than a maximum of 2 games.

He didn't use to fall / get knocked down all the time. These days he plays like a teenager in a man's game, diving in, running around, trying to impose himself with his speed and intelligence, while crumbling easily when it get physical. And he can't last more than 60 mins.

He could still have a good 2-3 years in a less physical league. Maybe Italy or America could suit him.
