I assumed that both clubs would just submit the release clause amount & the player would choose what club he wanted.
Then again I assumed that clubs wouldn't use fax machines for transfers about 20 years ago & they're still fucking using them.
You're right, they would just pay the release clause. The only bidding war that could happen is on how much they pay Suarez. The tweet was 100% bullshit anyway, so wont be happening.
