It does to me anyway. I’m like a giddy kid eagerly anticipating the weekend’s games. I was disillusioned with football there for a while. I was only watching our games and it wasn’t the end of the world if we lost. A bad state of affairs when losing didn’t matter that much anymore. I’d usually not bother with Swansea vs Spurs but i’ll be watching it Sunday roaring on Swansea. Everton losing means more than usual these days. I’m watching more games and generally interested again in football.
Is anyone else noticing a rise in your own personal interest in the game again? I’m going to overlook what’s wrong with the game at the mo, wages, corruption, sensational coverage of game etc. because fuck it, we’re in the mix up in mid Jan and it feels great.
