With 13 games to go, its a battle for 2nd - 5th and anything can happen really. At this moment in time Chelsea look the most likely to drop out. Arsenal are to far behind.

Seriously - the risky game we are playing - its hard to tell what will happen but we could easily fuck everything up, and Arsenal could still qualify. After the last two defeats - I cannot trust our team. Cannot believe we have not signed anyone - just stupid stupid idiots we are.

A Spurs United draw today would have made me feel much better, the Chelsea result is a nice surprise, however I still expect them to limp over the line, I imagine the table will end as it is now in regards to the top six. It only takes two results for us to be out of it though, we badly need to win at the weekend, a lose is an almost fatal blow.

And thats what we call a Drama Queen...😉

I really fear the games against Chelsea, and United away. We have to win against Spurs because I don't think that we will those other two fixtures. Can see us just giving in those games. Fucks sake Klopp/FSG - if we are not in the CL and we have players wanting to leave and players not wanting to come to us - it's all on them. I bet we get turned over at the weekend by spurs - yep we will. It's all over guys - you heard it here first from MORON.

Very disappointed with the transfer window. Not with Coutinho's departure. Reading between the lines we had little choice. And we have been wiser in the transfer market, knowing what our targets are and not deviating.
However the net spend over recent seasons is not indicative of a team that should be competitive. Also - the fact that our rivals have strengthened while we have sold our primary source of inspiration - that could cause us to be the team to miss out. How much will that cost us, both financially and in our ability to attract the players we want this summer?
We really need to keep that front 3 healthy.

I disagree with you. Coutinho is a splendid player, but he is not our primary source of inspiration. It has been good to see that when we perform and play well it is the whole team that put in a shift and Phil was only a part of a well functioning quartet.

If he was the sole inspiration we would been in deep shit. But as I stand we build a team and is better capable of loosing players.

And for all other strengthen?

Reading between the lines? You are overcomplicating things - you just need to read the lines themselves (like Klopp saying exactly that) & stop bothering the white space between them

There is little doubt, we have been dickheads. We should have at the very least paid the ransom for Keita.

Keita would have been ace. If in fact he was available for an extra 17 mill £, we are dickheads

The person quoted in the tweet is a great follow. I spent a month or so about 12-18 months ago tweeting him with links to this forum but I get the impression he is an establised posted somewhere else.

Whilst Arsenal have improved, 2.6 PPG is a significant target with big names to play. They are also relying on others not to reach 76 - which I think has every chance of being surpassed by all of the top 5.

Beat Spurs this weekend and we'll be in such a strong position. If we're only in the running for 4th we're at risk of a blip but if we can stay in the hunt for 2nd and 3rd we're giving ourselves much more breathing room.

Beating Spurs won't guarantee anything when we can lose to fucking teams like Swansea and West Brom a week after beating Man City.

If Lucas Moura hasn't gone the way of most recent Brazilians (in that they peak at 25), he will be a tremendous signing for them.

For all their skill and ability, Spurs have missed a player who can skip 2 or 3 players easily. Eriksen, Kane, Alli are outstandingly efficient players who lack dribbling ability. Son gives them a bit of dribbling and skill, but he lacks the power of a Hazard/Mane/Sanchez. This Moura kid has it.. or at least had it.

Hopefully Sunday is too early for him, given that he hasn't played consistently for some time now.

Other teams do this too, just look at Chelsea.

Yeah, but it just means that it's really hard to make any predictions, especially when Chelsea, Spurs, United and Arsenal have all also brought new players in, which may improve their teams.

We've added VVD and lost Coutinho, so again, how that affects the team over the rest of the season is tough to call.

I confidently predict that we will beat Spurs this weekend. Or possibly lose or draw.

Nah. Son, Lamela, Eriksen .. they can all skip past a few and I don't think Mane or Sanchez come close to Hazard, and neither will Moura. We'll see but there has to be a reason that despite being well known and playing for one of the top clubs in Europe, he still couldn't command a top fee or attract other top clubs.

I don't think he's been bought as a first teamer, just to add depth to a relatively weak squad. That said they are almost back to full strength with Alderweireld back now.

I mentioned Lucas Moura a good few times on here back in the day when he was still in Brazil. He has excellent running power but I haven't seen him play with a few years now. He was linked to United before his move to PSG in 2015 and then linked to everyone else since.

That’s missing a couple games they won.
