I'm not sure if it's work ethic he lacks, or he's just not as quick or good a learner as Henderson. Henderson makes the right decisions on the pitch; Jonjo is a lot more inconsistent and bobbles between doing the sublime and the incomprehensible. Can't argue that the move hasn't worked out well enough for him though. Getting regular minutes and decent goal / assist stats. I used to rate Shelvey ahead of Henderson but little lamb is now way ahead of Shelvey in terms of consistency and maturity in the way he plays.

Hull are probably just saving themselves for the FA Cup final now. Not totally out of the woods, but this season, maybe 36 is enough to be safe.
Doesn't surprise me, he's 25, had a great season and it's his big chance to move on. Not sure if one of the big clubs will bite, though.
Southampton will sell most of their players this season, they have an owner who isn't at all interested in investing money in the club.

Their owner sanctioned 15m on ozvaldo, 8 m on Lovren and 10m on Wenyama etc - sure they will sell, but they will invest too.
