I know it's been said elsewhere and that but Slot's presser was weird and pathetic. Just fucking get rid already.

Presentation wise it was good. He looked sharp and spoke well in a considered tone, answering all questions posed.

He just basically says too much and, whether he realises it or not, demotivates some of our fringe players repeatedly

I wish there wasn't press conferences all the time, just release a statement with who's fit and who's signing.

My missus thinks it's weird how I will avidly watch every press conference and interview (our staff / players only) after a win, but turn the telly off as soon as the final whistle blows if we draw or lose. Pre-match press conferences don't exist in my world either.

We live in a digital world where everyone can curate their own little universe. Most choose to include things that annoy them. Go figure.

He just chats shite as well for me and refuses any responsibility. Constant whinging about fatigue, injuries, low blocks, harking back to PSG... I'm just done with him.

Yeah, I thought it was another shitshow and basically an insult to the club and fans. You'd think he gets a commission for every time he mentions PSG in public.

Rumored team:

Alisson, Frimpong, Gravy, Virgil, Robbo, Macca, Szobo, Gakpo, Wirtz, Ekitike, Salah

If that is the team, its surely the final straw. Gravy is absolutely run into the ground, and rather than rest him we're making him CB? Fuck that, and fuck Slot.

That's the final straw for you? When asked in ten years time, why he got sacked, it'll be because Gravy played CB in the CL one time.

LOL - I'm about 10 straws gone. But I don't think we need any more evidence of the level of braindead he is coming across. Crying in press conferences about games, fatigue, squad etc. Then playing arguably the most fatigued player out of position.

I was joking, but, there's limited options, it's a fairly understandable call to have a senior player play ahead of nobodies. The "straws" should be reserved for results.

In normal circumstances I agree, but we conceded a goal at the weekend due to Gravy being too knackered to run and track a player. If we fatigue him, we then run out of CMs. Its terrible squad management.

We have all sorts of experts and fancy ways to test fatigue in professional athletes, but they still fall short of a good old armchair eye test.

The same tests that didn’t spot Kerkez was close to it, but found out he was in the red zone at half time.

I get the feeling Slot is treating his key 14-15 players the same way as we played footie back in my early teens. I remember getting put in goal for a few weeks (I played LW generally) when our best goalie was injured rather than playing our second goalie.
Basically the idea being the best players are the best players regardless of position.

I really struggle to believe that Gravy has had the CB line drill drummed into his head as well as Nallo. I’m sure he’s competent but surely a specialist, even if inexperienced, is a better shout to keep the formation tight. Even if not you’re saying a knackered CM is going to give a better performance over a fresh specialist CB?

If so, you REALLY have to question the coaching!

Given Endo is a shortarse like me, if it aint an U21 specialist then its Gravy
