US Open

Rory looking boss out there. I think he's still a touch nervy- but his game is still looking beautiful.

Looks like two Irish winners in two years, some achievement.
Ahem....he's British!

GMac and Rory are Northern Irish. So they are Irish and they are UK citizens. That shizzle doesn't matter. We can all be proud of him.

Is amazing that our wee country of 1.5 million has served up two consecutive US Open winners.

"In the hole" types should be escorted from the course with their arms up their backs.

They both are, but they have always competed for Ireland.

I was joking lads....Id love to castrate those "its in the hole" bastards. No its fucking not its miles away.
The phrase is 'in the hole'. Urging the ball to get in the hole...not 'its in the hole' 8)

They're Irish too, you represent Ireland and you're Irish.

Unless you're Tony Cascarino...

I always find it strange Harrington doesn't use the Leinster one, but sure every Irish man to himself.
I guess Leinster mustn't be a country in its own right with its own Parliament and stuff.

Don't tell me this wasn't choreographed:

I think we both know what flag he wants beside his name 😉

Took me ages to spot that. I'm still half asleep. I kept staring at that thing floating above his ear.

Fantastic job.

That implosion at the Masters could have defined his career forever; to come back so soon is just remarkable.

Yeah, I thought it was obvious at the half way point that all the collapse had done was make him more determined. His father said last night that after the Masters he worked harder than ever before and made tangible improvements.

He is the master of his own destiny now.

I knew he'd win when he went into the trees. Played out to the fairway, and then hit his 3rd to 6 ft to make par early on in his 2nd (?) round.
