well at least we've restored a gd buffer if we need it .

id rather man city missed out on the Cl so hopefully they can drop some points

Torn in this game. Would love to see Spurs beaten in their last game here, but at this point in time I am in favour of United getting dicked.

Spurs running rings around Man United. Without De Gea's heroics they could've been 3 or 4 down already..

Yest: 20y 139d - @AFCAjax starting XI against Willem II is the youngest ever line-up in Eredivisie history.

10 days before the final against Manure, in which time, Manure will play twice.

Other things:

Mourinho takes a swipe at Arsenal ... again.
Wenger takes a swipe at West Ham.

Utd have scored 6 goals in 7 games after Ibrahimovic got injured. I thought people said Utds attack would improve and be better without massive Zlatan?

They should win 9 out of 10 times vs Ajax, but lets hope they dont. That would be hilarious.

What did Wenger moan about this time? Is it funny?

Some teams are already on holiday (i.e. West Ham against us)
Haha. Wenger, never fails to disappoint. Read comments on Bbc sports on Sunday. Quite few Arsenal fans sounded really pissed at West Ham. Couldn't quite figure out why, though 😀

Some of us said they wouldn't and gave the reasons 😉

Fingers & toes crossed for Ajax ! And for more than one reason.

If we make 4th then we go ito the CL Playoffs (4th and final qualifying round) however currently whether we are seeded or not (and so avoid some very tough teams) is still up in the air :

It's only 5 teams that are seeded in the 'League Section' of the playoffs, (I haven't seen anything published yet for the 2017/18 format but it was 5 last season) - note there are two sections in the playoffs, one is reserved for champions of their countries only.

Our current Uefa coefficient ranking is 24th. Most of those above us will either go straight into the Group stage or have not qualified this season. There are 5 teams higher than us in the rankings that will be seeded unless they qualify to go straight into the group stage.

Dortmund are currently ahead of Hoffenheim and they only have to match their result in the last round to remain there (both at home, Dortmund tougher match), Zenit are 1 pt behind Moscow with 2 games to go (come on Zenit - I'll be watching their results now !), Ajax could win the EL (fingers crossed), or finally we'll have to hope Kiev go out in the 3rd qualifying round. So 4 chances to remove one of the teams above us and give us a seeding. Could be a tight run thing but money would be on Dortmund at least to make it and so give us that all important seeding.

So we have have higher seeding than Dortmund and have to hope they come higher than Hoffenheim? We have lower seeding than Hoffenheim ?

Edit: Aha, we have lower seeding than Dortmund but they can make it direct and if they do Hoffenheim is lower than us?

Edit 2: Hoffenheim plays Augsburg, which need 1 point to avoid the qaulifier for relegation. Hope they are up for a fight!! Dortmund meet Bremen, which have a better name but is shit and home safe anyway.

Sorry I had a typo above, we are UEFA rated #34 not 24. Doesn't change the above and it's also been brought to my attention that Ajax will qualify for the CL group stages regardless. So unless I've missed a team or two (possible as I didn't go through every one above us in the rankings to see where they stand in their leagues) we seem to be the 5th rated team in the "League Section' playoffs .. which would mean a seeding spot. I'll be happier if Dortmund win at the weekend though, just to be sure.

Ward the hero saving two penalties in the penalty shootout as Huddersfield progress to the Championship play off final

Edit On the assumption that he wont be retained how much might we get for him?

Probably way too early.... but Juve has a fantastic team and have a great chance for CL title. I guess Real will be favourites so some good money opportunities here. Juve are high flying as they win Coppa Italia today.
